I'm sorry to write this review, but my takeout last night was the second time your nigitlri tasted a bit off. When there is sauce on maki, it might not be too noticeable, but Nigiri is just shoyu and sasabi, and I can taste fish. Tuna looked gray and very mushy, and hamachi and salmon tasted like it was spoiled. My husband needed to spit salmon out. I ate it but then I didn't feel too great after that. Unagi is usually very safe to eat because the sweet sauce covers it up, but it tasted really fishy. The bottom of the salad was brown and tasted rotten. The fatty tuna was stringy and unchewable, and all of the fish was off. I worry for my health after this meal. Read moreWe were staying in Marblehead and stumbled upon this space. Seeing what I assumed was the family in the restaurant. It was amazing to see this beautiful menu with takoyaki and aged dashing. Both were amazing. I also got a chef's choice of 15 pieces of sashimi. The fish tasted so fresh and naturally sweet. The sashimi plate also came with miso and a salad.
It was a cute lil space and amazing food. Will definitely be back when I'm back...
