I had an awful experience here. I had a broken tooth and they squeezed me in which was great. They were only dentists in my plan for insurance and I had a list of about 15 dentists at this location which were all in my plan. I went in and there was only 1 dentist who worked there who wasn’t even in my plan. They did put it through my insurance in the long run but while I was in the chair the billing girl came in and told me to sign a paper stating it was 650$ out of pocket unless I wanted a silver crown. She made me pay half right then and I sat in the chair for 4-5 hours waiting for the procedure for the crown. Dr gave me about 10 shots of novacaine which I’ve never experienced and then got caught up with another patient for over an hour so had to redo the novacaine a second time. The assistant did most of the crown prep which I’m not used to and don’t know her training but Fla is a state that allows it. IL isn’t so I’m used to my dentist doing everything. Office billing girl was called several times with my insurance company ; literally I spent probably 10-15 hours trying to resolve the pricing issue and I wasn’t comfortable finishing the crown there. I called the following day to tell them not to make the crown ( 2 week lead time)And the girl told me it was too late as it was already made. That was a lie as the crown didn’t come for another 8 weeks. I called several times with insurance and the billing girl was extremely rude and called me crazy. They were extremely unprofessional and rude. I would definitely go somewhere else. I just had a root canal and crown in Chicago and my cost was 160$ for the same crown. The expensive special crown they charged so much for is a standard crown that was a fraction of the price they charged. It was not only the money but the rudeness and way they treated me was worst I’ve ever experienced anywhere. Find a different office to go for...

If you like pretentious dental offices and cramped waiting areas, this place is for you!!! Several times, after having appointments booked for months (and my requesting work off on my end) I have received calls at the last minute saying I need to reschedule because the dentist will not be there, office closing early, etc... Different dentist almost every time I've gone, I honestly don't even know how many work here as they seem to come and go. Security cameras all over the place isn't exactly comforting. On two occasions I have had work done, paid what was due beyond the insurance and then later received bills for additional. Also payment for work must be made prior to the appointment which I have never experienced at a dentist prior to this place. What really threw me off is when I had a crown put in and during the final appointment to have it "glued in" I stopped them and asked if they were going to disinfect/sanitize my mouth where the crown was going and the dentist said 'no, it will be fine' that struck me as very odd. I have used this office since I moved here, trying to give it a fair chance and for convenience since it's close but forget it, I'll head elsewhere from now on. *Also, and I still can't believe this, they don't even give you a toothbrush after cleaning. If I'm paying premium price for having my mouth poked and prodded the least you could do is give a $2 toothbrush and mini...

I recently moved to Marco permanently.I was in need of a dentist.I went to Marco Island Family Dental the best decision ever. First of all I called them yesterday morning and they made a spot for me to come in today so they were very accommodating Everyone was friendly, kind and attentive and extremely professional The place was spotless and extremely clean. The hygienist had hands of gold. I never had a hygienist that was so thorough and gentle. She was wonderful. Keep in mind I’m a little anal with my teeth. I go to the dentist every three months to get my teeth cleaned. I usually dread going to the dentist because you know the hygienist are so rough. However this hygienist was so gentle and so thorough. I left feeling that my teeth were super clean . I’m NEVER leaving this dentist They’re stuck with me FOREVER. They also took X-rays of my mouth digitally so cool my dentist in NJ didn’t have that equipment. I also needed a new mouthguard they used this equipment that she just rubbed against my teeth on top and bottom teeth it took pictures of my mouth. It was amazing. The last time I needed a mouthguard they used a mold with white squishy material that I had to bite down on to make the mold of my teeth It was nasty. I hated it. But here they didn’t do any of that.
