Steve & Cookies is by far our favorite place to dine. whether we sit at the bar or at a dining table. we can count on a delicious meal and dining experience.
One standout dish that I can't stop raving about is their fried lobster tail. It is perfectly cooked to golden perfection, with a crispy exterior giving way to succulent, flavorful lobster meat. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste and texture, making it an instant favorite of mine.
What truly sets this place apart, however, is its remarkable staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. Hector, who served us, was not only efficient but also incredibly personable, making sure every aspect of our dining experience was enjoyable.
George, the wine expert, guided us through a delightful selection of wines that complemented our meal perfectly. His knowledge and passion for wine added a special touch to the evening.
Brian and Hector, along with the rest of the staff, were equally impressive. Their attention to detail and commitment to providing top-notch service made our visit memorable.
I must also commend Cookie for her skills in running such an amazing establishment at Steve & Cookies. Her attention to detail, passion for hospitality, and dedication to providing a memorable dining experience truly shine through in every aspect of the restaurant. It's evident that she goes above and beyond to ensure that guests like me leave satisfied and eager to return. Cookie's commitment to excellence is a key factor in making Steve & Cookies our favorite place to dine.
Overall, this establishment is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it receives. With an amazing menu, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's no wonder they stand out as a must-visit destination for food...
Read moreYears ago we went here during the AC Restaurant Week, and enjoyed it back then. So after a long while trying to get a reservation, we finally got one online. My daughter and I had already looked over the menu before we arrived so we knew what we wanted. We were sad to see that the restaurant had lost most of its bay view due to condo looking structure being built across the street. We ordered for an appetizer to be shared by all three of us: Lamb Lollichops, Eggplant Rollitini and the Beet & Goat Cheese Salad. All were excellent in flavor. My SIL ordered the double apple cheddar stuffed pork chop and a side baked potato with butter. It comes with mashed sweet potatoes however he had them place it on a separate plate for my daughter and I to share. We felt it was too sweet with the added sweetness. My daughter ordered the filet and mashed potatoes. I ordered the duck with creamed corn, cornbread stuffing and blueberry sauce. My daughter and I shared our meals so we were able to enjoy both meals. The filet was cooked perfectly however it was still on the dry side. The duck had a crispy skin and the it went well with the blueberry sauce. My daughter and I both enjoyed everything that came with the duck. Service was very slow, however, the waiter had a lot of tables he was taking care of. We were seated in the back of the restaurant under a painting of Frank Sinatra. For dessert my SIL ordered the Creme Brûlée which I could see he enjoyed very much. Both my daughter and I ordered the chocolate peanut butter pie. The pie was creamy and rich. All three desserts came with whipped cream on the side. This restaurant had a more refined clientele, as it wasn’t boisterously loud like one I reviewed last week. The food was great for the most part. We will be back...
Read moreLet me start by saying, this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. We had a reservation and arrived 15 minutes early, we were greeted by a host and hostess. Upon giving our name the hostess replied "you're early", I understood this and had no problem waiting, but was this the best way to greet your guests? They were very busy and I'm unsure if the vibe here was meant to be casual and hip or cool and sophisticated, either way it comes off as superior and uninviting. We were seated within 5 minutes and our server and the bus help were friendly and efficient, exactly what service should be, kudos for that. Food review: Arugula salad was perfect, house salad was tasty but lettuce was limp. Crab pasta was fair, lots of lump crabmeat, which was great, but the sauce was nothing special, apart from the fresh basil garnish, watery and did not cling to the noodles at all. No fresh parmesan grated for you here, just a jar of pregrated cheese and hot peppers to sprinkle on top; they knew you would need them because they're are no subtle flavors to this dish. Special for the evening, seafood roast which included lobster tail, shrimp, scallops, and lump crab meat on a bed of rice pilaf. Forget subtle flavors, this dish was completely flavorless. They give you a grilled lemon on the plate, to give the dish some color I guess, I used it to squeeze all over the food, partly to give the dish some flavor, as well as to cover the fishy flavor of the lobster tail (fishy tasting lobster is a new one for me). We didn't complain because we realized everything was subpar, so why bother. The place sure was hopping with people, but with this quality of food, it won't be for long. PS- Both the men and women's bathroom were out of...
