Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Maricopa

I don’t get to say this often, but this place did everything right. I visted Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in Maricopa on a Friday a little before noon. There were a few tables with customers seated, and one customer at the ordering counter when I walked in. When the first customer completed ordering their food, I stepped up to the counter and placed my order. I ordered the Double cheeseburger combo. The total was $12.27. I believe the guy who took my order was a manager, but I’m not positive. Prior to ordering, he asked me if I was using the app and I told him no and that this was my first visit to this chain. He presented me with a card to use for downloading the app and proceeded to tell me that the points add up quickly and by using the app for the first time, I would get a free double steakburger or regular concrete which is apparently what they call their frozen custard. I took a seat and after a very short wait, my number was called and I was presented with my meal at the pick-up counter. It was clearly freshly prepared and didn’t take long at all. The burger was prepared just as I ordered it and was hot and tasty. I wouldn’t say that it was any better or worse than other burger chains, but it did taste just a touch salty to me, although not overwhelmingly salty. They did not skimp on the French fries either. The lobby was clean, the trash bins were empty and the trays were not stacked up on top of the bins. Obviously, they maintain high standards for how they present themselves to their customers. As I was finishing my meal, the same guy who took my order was checking the lobby and removing trays from customers’ tables for them. He offered to take my tray, but I told him that I’d get it. I went to the Freddys in Maricopa, Arizona and my son loves their fries sauce so I thought OK I’ll go up there and grab a bottle. I never had it before and they were out of the regular. All they had was the Smoky and the jalapeño so I thought well when she comes back, she was making three shakes that I took home our multi I should say anyway When she came back I was just gonna say I’ll try Know what does it taste like and she was so upset that they didn’t have the regular and she usually orders it and slipped her mind or whatever she says hang on a minute she puts a jalapeño sauce, a smoky sauce, and a bottle of their steak seasoning in a bag and gave it to me For being out of what I was there to get. I couldn’t even believe it. I’m like that’s incredible I can’t. I can’t even believe you’re doing this. She was so nice. Brianna and Kay are the best. They make sure I had a carrier and she told me they get their truck on Friday and they’ll have the regular sauce to come in and she’ll give me that bottle also, I just love this place. We don’t go there near enough and for my birthday. We’re definitely going there I could go on and on all day about these two. During our first visit to Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers, we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere and generous hospitality. As newcomers, we received a complimentary custard, setting a positive tone from the start. I opted for the jalapeño double steakburger, while my wife enjoyed the California burger paired with crispy onion rings. Both burgers were flavorful and satisfying, complemented by fries that, while reminiscent of picnic sticks, still offered a good crunch.

The highlight of our meal was the custard with Butterfinger topping, which rivaled popular Blizzard desserts in taste and quality. The creamy texture and rich flavors made it a memorable treat. The restaurant's ambiance, designed like a 50s diner, added nostalgia and character to our dining experience.

Service was exemplary, with attentive staff ensuring our needs were met promptly.
