The only Starbucks in copa that gets my order right. I've ran into some who are super nice, & those who are nonchalant I just never report it or complain about it until today. You guys need to hire people who can at least try to seem like they like their job lol. They shouldn't be rubbing off their feelings towards others. Not sure what her name was but I know she had a hand written badge, brunette, young, highlighter makeup. Today 9/11 @ 2:00pm taking drive thru orders. I pulled up and I had mentioned.. "Hi I have a pick up for..." she immediately cut me off, didn't let me finish talking & said ok it will be at the window. I was like "um.. and I wanted to ask if I can add water please" she said "it will be at the window" I said thanks.. I figured they were too busy to ask for my name cus they always do. I go to the window & she tells me the total.. & said "I actually had a pick up order for ...." she had this face where she seems annoyed, maybe new? & then I said "I also asked for a wa.. (without letting me finish)" Yup a water. But very passive aggressive.. mind you I'm speaking normal/nice/calm lol. I've worked in retail & am a nurse so I deal with chaotic people all the time so I understand.. but NOT everyone is rude. After she gave me the water, I said thank you & with a look of unwelcoming, nonchalant she said have a nice day. Not sure what was up with her but holy crap.. do people not know what killing what kindness is? If your having bad day, suck it up! & just kill it with kindness.. need a break? Ask the manager.. don't like your job? Leave. I will never understand this young generation not having manners it's getting annoying.. there's been a few here at this location who are just rude.. The middle/older age employees are always nice. You never know what anyone is going through so I always think treat others how you want to be treated.. I've come across worse at this location but today I was like ahh I need to say something 🤦🏻♀️ Like Customer service is huge to me.. I could careless if you mess up my drink but your actions/words means more than a messed up...
Read moreThe staff is friendly, and, in my opinion, besides Pike's Place in Seattle, Starbucks has one of the best customer service training programs in the retail beverage industry! I know this for a fact, as when I worked in education for the military, we modeled OUR customer service training programs, at every level, after theirs! The baristas are always patient and cheerful, even on hectic days and during"rush hour"! We always go in there after a 6- mile bike ride to grab whatever their monthly special is, and their blueberry scones are delicious! Did you know there are associate degree programs offered through our community colleges where the student can get a 2-yr degree in the Hospitality and Tourism industry, and get a semester or two of internship experience at one of the local Starbucks stores, thus getting some work experience under their belts as well?! I think there is a scholarship program as well, but any college--age student would do well to look up these opportunities offered by one of the best companies to work for!
By the way, my husband and I, after a work out in the gym, got caught in a ferocious rain and sand storm, which are common in Arizona deserts, with winds of 70 mph pushing the locked doors of the store inward; the Starbucks staff were inside with us, watching the storm, as we saw trees uprooted and blown down, and they still were gracious to let us sit and drink our cafe mochas for about an hour! My husband and I Went though the drive-through ordered the Blonde Vanilla latte one venti and a tall, I repeated myself like Twice of what we wanted and they were out of the venti so we get the Grande. We get to the Window we get our orders we started to drive away my husband take a drink out of his. He told me it was not the vanilla ones so he Park I went inside it get it fix. I started talking to one of the working about my order bring wrong and she like at me like I was crazy. I know what I ordered and what they have on the menu. I saw her the sticker and what it’s said. So I know for sure it was not the vanilla latte, she look mad and told a other work to fix it. I went in line to get my daughters cake pop because they were asking if I can get them one. I ordered the cake pop just two cake pop, I went to go wait for and there were people behind who ordered Coffee they get their order before me. I called a worker to get her Attention. She come up to me and ask how she can help I told her I ordered some cake pop and was waiting for they and people who ordered after me got there order. She told me the person in front had to give them to me. She went back to work two minutes later she told the guy in front about my order.
