Rili B's Taco Shop Maricopa — Restaurant in Maricopa

This is the only problem with an order I've had since they've opened and have gone there. The place is amazing the 2 stars is for the worker that I encountered during this problem on 01/07/2021 I ordered at 5:30pm and went back to fix my order at 6pm. I ordered 10 street tacos five for my wife five for me in two separate boxes. When I arrived home my wife's tacos were fine but when I opened my box there was literally only enough meat for two tacos barely spread out between five tortillas and loaded up with chopped onions. I called and a younger girl answered the phone and she was very nice and said that I could either get a refund or the food and I just wanted the food because I was hungry and she said it wouldn't be a problem and to come back in and make sure I bring the receipt. When I arrived I talked to a different person she was shorter a little heavy set with black hair and a ponytail she said her name was hexi (but I think that was a lie because she knew I was upset when I asked for her name) she asked me what my problem was and I explained to her what I talked to the other worker on the phone about and that I just wanted my tacos replaced. she then told me that I needed the tacos with me and I told her that I live 15 minutes away and I was never told to bring them but if I needed to bring them back then I would just like a refund instead. When I told her that I wanted the tacos replaced before I said I would take a refund if need be she rolled her eyes and walked away from me mumbling something. when she gave me back the five tacos that were made correctly she told me that they're not supposed to replace orders that they got wrong because they have a specific return policy but they'll do it for me this time and she was very rude about the whole situation that the younger girl that I spoke to on the phone kept apologizing every time she walked away. Before I left I asked her for her name which I mentioned above and it sounded like she made a name up but that may actually be her real name I'll never know. The food is great but this is the only time I've ever had to complain or go back in because something was wrong and she handled that customer service situation very poorly and I feel like I wasn't the only person she's acted that way too before by the way she didn't care about anything I said and quickly went to frustrated when I gave her no reason to be. 4.5 starts for food but 2 stars for the poor customer service from hexi or whatever...

If you want to take a nostalgic memory trip to 3rd grade elementary school cafeteria food, this is the place for you. This is number 1 in my list of the worst Mexican food I have ever tasted. Looking back at the review history, I think the other reviewers before me were held hostage to make a 5-star review. There was a lot of red flags when I walked into the restaurant: The place was DEVOID of smell. No food smell what so ever. I felt like I was in a videogame simulation. The place was empty. The order took 20 minutes for a plate of tacos and a burrito. They sure wasn't cooking it, so I don't know what took them so long. Even when I ordered the food, there was no sound of food sizzling on the grill. Everything tasted like it was different temperatures, like it was all microwaved separately. My carne asada was gray and dry, the beef taco had the texture of eating strings. My taco was 90% cold shredded cheese, I could have gotten the same and cheaper effect by just eating shredded cheese packet straight out my fridge. Rice and beans felt like it came straight out of a SYSECO bag. I wish I could give this place 0 stars but I think it deserves at least 1 star because it was clean, probably because they don't even cook food here. Highest compliments to the head chef...

So the horchata is gross but the rest of the food was amazing!! We got To-go on opening night, there was a wait but that was to be expected. I'd say other than the Sonoran hot dog truck, best fast Mexican food in town. We had the Texas burrito and the Carne asada rolled tacos. Both were amazing. The inside was nicely decorated as well. The order was correct too, which was nice given the chaos of opening night. Met one of the owners too, he was really nice as well!

I have been coming here since the day they opened. I loved it. I am sad to say they really messed up my order this time (not sure how) I order the Texas and they added a bunch of rice (GAG) in my burrito. I am really upset about it and I can't drive back to correct it when I have to feed the rest of my family. I am beyond upset about it. They didn't add sour cream either (Texas is chicken, potatoes sour cream and cheese)

Edit #2 10/18/20 I drove back after I called to have this corrected, it's a $10 burrito... And they messed it up again! I specifically asked for no rice to be added. They're adding it and putting hardly any meat! Now I've tried calling back and they won't...
