I have been looking forward to this Chipotle location opening. While in Marietta, last week (4/16) getting groceries, I decided to stop by and get a bowl. Hoping to leave a positive review after seeing the couple negative ones. I ordered my bowl online, like I always do (in Zanesville), went to pick it up and the lady at the window was very nice. She said they were super busy and she's making my bowl 'now'. Then she told me they were out of cheese?!!!!!!🤯 I picked my bowl up at 11:10am, how in the world were they out of cheese?.... I politely told her it was fine, but if possible I would like extra rice because I get a veggie bowl. She said no problem, made my bowl, gave me my order, and off I went. Before I got out of their parking lot, I tore into my bowl, stirred it up and got ready to eat on my way home. However, I had to turn around because my bowl was loaded with corn and I do not like corn mixed with anything!!🤢 So I circled back around and went through the drive thru and told them I didn't order corn and it's filled with corn. She confirmed what I ordered and sure enough, I didn't have corn on my order. The other girl kindly remade it and apologized and off once again loaded me up with rice and off I went. The two girls at the window were very friendly. The first girl, you could tell was very overwhelmed. I do get it's a new location so things are bound to be hectic as most employees are still learning. The problem I have is with the restaurant as a whole. HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU RUN OUT OF CHEESE 30 MINUTES AFTER OPENING?😒 I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Marietta and hopefully I will be able to leave a 5⭐️, but today, it's only a 3⭐️ since they didn't have cheese.🧀 5 ⭐️ for the friendly two girls working...
Read moreSo the food here is really good i have to say that. But they appear to be woefully understaffed bc often the person making your food then becomes the cashier. And more than once I've watched them go back to making the next person's food wearing the same gloves they just handled money with. Disgusting. And then you get attitude if you ask them if they could change their gloves. And one other thing i want to mention is the other day i was paying with my card and the machine was processing slowly and as i went to pick up my food a girl actually pulled it away from me as if i was going to steal it. She snipped, Did you put your chip down facing you?? I said YES THAT'S EXACTLY HOW I PUT IT IN. And at that moment the machine finally processed my card and she let go of my tray. There are some extremely nice ppl working here but also some extremely rude ones. I think the management isn't great right now. UPDATE 5/19/25 It's been a few weeks since i left my original review and i just wanted to say this store has markedly improved things. Staff has been super friendly and efficient and the portions seem to have increased. Also now appears to be managed very well. I visited the Parkersburg store over the weekend and i have to say the Marietta store has become my favorite. Their food quality and presentation are consistently very good. Definitely recommend eating at the Marietta...
Read moreI dislike leaving bad reviews but what is the deal with "fast casual" places in marietta? This is the second place that has messed up my order in the area. I was tired and not feeling well so I placed an online order (not that I need to justify doing that- it's 2025) and ordered extra sour cream on my burrito. I love the sour cream from Chipotle, the texture is just perfect. Instead I got none and as someone who's worked in food service before, I'm not understanding how hard it is to just read the order. The chips were also stale, oversalted, and awful. Listen, as an elder millennial I can only defend the younger generation so much before you start making me look bad for doing so. You guys are embarrassing me. Please get it together and at least do the bare minimum. Use your big kid voices, read the orders... it isn't that difficult. And nobody is paying you enough to rush. Take your time and get the orders...
