On top of great food and customer service, I saw the most unusual thing on today. A woman was making a small order and handed the cashier a card. The kind gentleman came back to the customer and politely informed her that her card was declined. She handed him a dollar and ask that he try the card again. Once again the card was declined and he politely informed her so. The Woman said something about fees and with a hand full of money handed the cashier three one Dollar bills and some change. Having given back her card and looking at the sum of money the Woman had given him her had to inform her that she had not given her the full amount for the purchase. Once again he gave her the total and explained that she had given him insufficient funds. She scrambled around in her change and still came up eight cents short. This gentleman with the most easiest going personality reached for a change cup they keep for people who may be short and retrieved the eight cents to complete the transaction. The poor woman who was taken aback just handed him a quarter to replace the eight cents that she used from the chance cup. I said all of this to say that I have seen cashiers go off on people who would do something unnecessary that holds up the line. I can honestly say at no time did I see a ounce of frustration, disappointment or inconsideration from that cashier. The young man's name was Trenard. This is one exceptional customer service representative. I didn't see a effort on his part to be polite. It was the most natural non-condescending respectfully executed transaction I have ever seen. Maybe this is a common occurrence of the drive through business but never have I personally seen the gracefulness exhibited today by any other cashier I've ever seen. That transaction could have taken much long and had a very bad outcome. But it couldn't have been any faster or come out with such a great testimony to the quality of the staff working for this establishment...
Read moreOnce again I’m on my way to work this morning. I really had a taste for a peppermint mocha latte 😋 my favorite for Fall.
I understand on the job training in so many areas, been there done that. I’m a different bread when it comes to this level. You can’t train a new staff while you’re on the phone. Observe and correct at the point of sales or duties.
Anyway, the young male did a great job! He tried to correct his mistakes when asked and I helped him out for a minute… all good.
Ordered my food and here comes my coffee. I could tell already it wouldn’t be what I envisioned in my head earlier. The warmth of the cup was lukewarm, the taste wasn’t what I expected and no peppermint taste or mocha delivered to my awaiting taste buds 😩
So, now I’m just smh 🤦🏾♀️. I had to drive to the closest SB to get what I knew would save the taste I craved this morning. And I have my favorites from them both, this is why I stopped. Oh, and to add the new staff didn’t make the latte.
So, just check your lattes...
Read moreI was just there and assisted by the staff and mainly shift leader April who needs a lesson in customer service because her people skills suck...I am completely dissatisfied by her lack of concern and condescending attitude....told her it was my mother's bday requested small drink & donut & they simply replied "we don't do that" then took forever to get store number and her weak "have a good night" whenever I began to speak to shut me up...the manager Sam who is always polite and has the best customer service wasn't there certainly would have given us a different experience. I went to the location at concord & s. cobb the gentleman who obliged us and even told my mom happy bday...whatever happened to genuine concern for your customers and how you respond....its not so much the message its the delivery...April you get a thumbs down and I will be calling corp tommorow to report yours and the staff except for the new lady's wack...
