San Luis Restaurant — Restaurant in Marietta

Apparently the google listing for this restaurant and website are fake. I was optimistic about finding a new “go to” tacos and gorditas place for my family after seeing them listed on Doordash. Everyone enjoyed the food, so I googled the restaurant to check it out in person today. On the Google listing it included a website with online order options for pick up or delivery w/Doordash. I chose pickup and went through the menu adding items, and creating an account to pay at checkout. I received an email confirmation. We went to the restaurant and were told that they don’t have online ordering or a website. The manager said he doesn’t know how a website was set up, that although it has all of their information and menu items, that someone from Menustar called my order in over the phone. He was as confused as I was, and despite receiving the order and filling it, the total was $17+ more at pick up than on my order confirmation. The manager said that since he doesn’t know how the website was setup and they don’t have a contract with Menustar, we had to pay the higher prices. After all of this frustration and having to pay a 2nd time, I’m not sure we’ll go here again. Menustar texted me saying the restaurant called them to cancel and refund my order. This place was a gem but now there getting really pricey as if they were a gourmet restaurant If you order a order of lime the don’t give you the entire lime they give you half the lime cut into 3 pieces for a dollar Note if you order menudo and ask for more meat just go ahead and order a small menudo instead of asking for more meat they charge $4.99 for more meat and bring you the same amount as if they did not add more meat lol The place needs an update and prices should match the...

Overall good. My family of 4 come here often. The food is almost always pretty much great. The service could be better. Most of the staff doesn't speak English. The stuff has changed from a few months ago. Possibly new owners as well. A few food options we have tried are the sopes, Carne asada, torta, Mexican street tyle tacos and of course the rice and beans. Don't forget to also try the Agua Frescas. Especially...
