Atmosphere: Not what I was expecting from a place that looks like a cafe. I didn't foresee having to sit down and have my order presented to me, this implies tipping necessary. Not that I don't tip, but I'm used to these types of places operating under an "order at the counter" basis. This place doesn't scream: "Please sit, relax, eat, and then wait for your check patiently." I was ready to leave as soon as I was finished, and I had to wait an extended time for someone to approach my table. The place was not busy at all. One table seated and one customer ordering to go. Definitely could have noticed I was ready as I began drafting this review while awaiting my check. Food: Seasoned well, but the gyro meat seemed to be "cut" rather than sliced. I prefer thinner slices so the edges are crispier. This was more of a chunked style meat. It wasn't bad but just not how I am accustomed to having it. The portion? I wanted a larger size so rather than ordering the normal Gyro I opted to pay the extra $2 for the "Hercules." Was this worth it? Not really. I go to places and simply order "extra meat" and I get much larger amounts. I'm hungry enough for at least 4 more bites. Again it was good, but not mind blowing. I didn't know I had to order feta on it. Most places have it already. So I missed out on that. The taziki sauce? Way too much lemon. A bit watered down. Could have been better. The potatoes? They were ok. I won't complain on them, I've never ordered lemon potatoes before. Not my thing. Perhaps an acquired taste. The waitress finally came and asked if I wanted another drink to go? Took my plate so I assume I'll be presented the check. She was very sweet and accommodating so she gets points. Everyone was nice. Service gets points. But a tad slow for my speed for this type of establishment. I was presented with a square reader, not a paper check, not sure if this is a card only establishmnet but I wasn't offered the usual "Paying my cash or card?" So that was a tad odd. Overall experience: Decent. Paid= $22.95 plus $4.60 tip. Value for money? Seeing as I'm still hungry, no. I won't return unless it's for take out only so tipping is not required. However the sweet tea tasted fresh and not old so I'll give them credit on that. But this place will be somewhere I come if no other option is available on my travel route, and for...
Read moreMy new favorite Greek place! This place is wonderful. Very COVID health conscious with masks, a new styrofoam cup for each drink refill, tables spaced apart, etc... Service was fantastic. Two women ran the front of the house. To go orders, food service pick ups, and table service. I expected to order at the counter and maybe have food brought to the table. Walked in and thought I would just get a drink while I waited for my friend to arrive. Ordered my 1/2 and 1/2 tea and was expecting to pay for it right then. Server told me to find a nice table and she would bring me my drink. She brought my drink and 2 menus. When we friend arrived they got her drink order and we ordered the Greek nachos! Greek nachos! What are those? Delicious! Thick and crispy pita bread, fried, and topped with gyro meat, lettuce, tomato, kalamata olives, red onion, feta cheese, and taziki sauce! These things are awesome! We cleaned the plate and ordered individual meals! I got the beef kabob platter (comes with salad and I chose French Fries) and my friend got the shrimp kabobs with salad and Greek potatoes. These were delicious as well. We traded a piece of beef and shrimp to see if we liked the other order. Very flavorful but not over seasoned. Servers kept our drinks refilled with fresh cups and didn’t rush us.
We were there from 6ish to 9ish. Never felt rushed, never felt neglected. Such a nice place! Can’t wait to go back! Only problem will be deciding what to order! Go back for the same delicious items or find new delicious dishes. I have a feeling you cannot make a bad choice here! Please visit this place and tip the servers well....
Read moreI have been a regular at this restaurant at least once or twice a week for years. Unfortunately, when you order for delivery they seem to not care whether you get what you paid for. The last three delivery orders have been missing two to four items every time. I just spoke with the manager this morning regarding an order over $70 which was missing a whole entree, two Greek salads, three extra Tzatziki sauces, at 75 cents a piece, a side of fries, and a caesar salad! This is beyond acceptable! As for the manager I spoke with, she just kept telling me to call Uber refusing to accept responsibility for the missing items. It has nothing to do with Uber, but everything to do with them not paying attention to detail and packing the items ordered! The worst part is that I actually called and spoke to a gentleman last night and asked him to please make sure that everything was in the bag this time since it's happened the last two times. He assured me that he would definitely recheck. How do you pack salad dressings, with no salad in the Box? It's really sad this has been my favorite go to restaurant for 10 plus years. As for the managers lack of care this morning, it will be my last time ordering from here. As I told the manager that, she assured me okay ma'am. No resolution, no sympathy, no responsibility, no appreciation for the customer choosing to spend their hard-earned money there. Very sad day to find out I've been spending my money for years weekly with a company that does not appreciate...
