The food since I've been coming has always been delicious. I'm pretty simple with my order. However today was the last day that myself or all 5 of our clinics will be ordering from this establishment. We had a company meeting and our company ordered us lunch. However my order was wrong. I called and tried to explain over the phone what the issue was, but it seemed as though the gentleman couldn't hear me to clear. So I asked that maybe I'll come in and even asked if I should bring in the food that was ordered, he said yes. Upon me coming in as soon as I walked in the Owner (I come in there often and so does the doctor I work along side) comes over and I have the receipt in my hand, and she begins to tell me in a scolding way that the way "I" ordered it was wrong, I couldn't even really get to explain what I was trying to say. She did say she would make it over which they did, but seemed very upset that they had to make it over. Their normally nice but today was just different for whatever reason. Every time I've come I've never had an issue even when they've been super busy I would wait patiently. I didn't want to cause a scene at all inside, so when I got outside to call to speak to Jilisa (the owner) her brother told he was one of the owners, so I tried to tell him that the attitude that I was just given in there was unnecessary and not cool, he proceeded to basically talk over me and tell me I'm emotional and that she didn't mean anything by it and that they are under a lot of pressure. I said sir that is not my fault or anyone else's fault and I still would like to speak with the lady, well that didn't go over well either because they honestly didn't care even though they made the food over but they would not acknowledge their disgusting attitudes today and mind you I've been met with smiles before. When she did get on the phone she just kept saying I made the food over for you what else can I do for you what else do you want, and sorry over and over but it was passive aggressive to the 10². I have already told my company we will order our lunches from some place else, because you can educate your customers on how to order (which I know how to do) but to be that annoyed with that attitude because it wasn't made the way the customer wanted it and it had to made over. I understand what it takes to have to prep, prepare food and to have to waste it when it isn't made correctly, but the customer service that I was given was...
Read moreI would give this experience 2 stars, but I'm a repeat customer and I usually do have a good experience here. I always love the taste of my poke bowl, however, I had a very disappointing visit last time. I gathered a lot of points from the times I visited and wanted to redeem them for a free bowl. I was told by the worker handling my food that the redemption would include anything that I wanted to include with my bowl, even the ones that cost extra like cauliflower rice, avocado, etc. I asked her more than once just to make sure I wasn't misunderstood, and it was clearly expressed to me that everything would be covered. Then I get to checkout and a different worker takes my rewards, but it doesn't take off the whole bowl. I explained to him what I was told in the beginning before I even placed the order, and he told me that the reward would only work for the whole bowl with extras if I placed the order online. I was never told this until checkout. Even in the app where you redeem your rewards says that "you can use it in the store!" Even if the workers are misinformed, and the reward doesn't include any extras, I felt an exception could have been made as a one-time courtesy, especially because I did my due diligence by asking the worker ahead of time and was mislead. Had I known this all ahead of time, I would never have gotten anything that cost extra to begin with, which is what I normally do, but I wanted to take advantage of the reward that I earned from going there so often to finally treat myself. Overall, even though the workers were nice, and I still am going to come back, this experience left a bad taste...
Read moreBottom Line: I would recommend this to an average Joe, but not to another foodie like me. Very affordable but not great flavor.
Atmosphere: Very comfortable. Not much artificial lighting but big windows bring in moderate natural light. Very spacious and plenty of AC.
Food: I got the Regular Poké Burrito($11.95 without special toppings) with white rice, spicy salmon, The Company Sauce, avocado(additional $1.50), cucumber, spicy mayo, and masago.
The burrito was cut in half but it was rolled up like it was whole, so I wasn't prepared when I opened it in my hands at home and dropped one half of it(luckily it landed on the table).
Other than that, the presentation was nice. Everything looked decent and appealing. The ingredients tasted very fresh. My only complaint, which is a pretty big complaint, is that there was no flavor at all. It was very bland. I thought the Company sauce would be a hit or miss which is why I had Spicy Mayo added on because that's pretty standard.
Service: I ordered to go about half an hour in advance and it was ready by the time I got there waiting in a fridge behind the counter. A girl at the counter greeted me with a smile and seemed very friendly.
Overall: I might come back to try something else on the menu, but not for a while. While the burrito was very disappointing flavor wise, the ingredients were fresh and the...
