The guy with the glasses (Phillip) sets you up to pay more than you signed up for. He was not transparent about the pricing or wait time for repairs (he quoted me $120 with a wait time of 40 minutes) and he rushed me through the payment process so he could get a tip out of me after adding a $40 labor charge that he did not include in the pricing quote. He then processed my payment by tapping my card without stating a total or giving me a chance to look at it before agreeing to pay. Once the payment was processed and I realized what happened, he shows me the receipt says “no refunds”. I wondered why he was mumbling the whole time he was rushing me through the paperwork and payment but now I understand this was intentional and he was trying to rip me off. He also quoted me a 40-60 minute wait time but it took 2 hours and he did not even apologize or call to let me know. The repair was the same quality as other Cellairis locations but the person I dealt with was dishonest and left me with a terrible feeling of being duped. I will not be visiting this location again. Beware of this slimy strategy to generate business if you do.
In response: You did not explicitly state the labor charge; you were mumbling about the warranty while pointing at a number on the page which apparently was a labor charge, nor did you tell me the total at the time of payment before tapping my card because you were trying to hide your dishonesty. I asked for a refund and you refused, leaving me no choice but to pick some item at which point you tried to cheat me further by suggesting I take a phone case worth way under $40 and made it seem like you were doing me some kind of favor by letting me take the charger. (I looked up the price of the products on your website, you were not doing me any favors.) I dropped off my phone around 11:05 am and asked if you would call me when it was ready, to which you said, “yes” and asked for my phone number. I came back at 12:45 pm when I had not heard from you (and I have a time-stamped receipt to prove it). That is roughly two hours, not 60 minutes. Your customer service was terrible and you know it. Rather than asking what you can do to make it right and following through, you are arguing that I do not understand what happened. Read moreif I could give 0 stars I would, don't waste your money or time here. the reviews are fake, they offer you deals in exchange of a good review. nothing is good quality though, I got my screen fixed a little over a month ago and yesterday it became completely unresponsive. I went to the store right after work to see if there was anything they could do to help and the girl working there tried telling me she couldn't help me because I wasn't in their system. I showed her the review I had left a month ago and pleaded with her and she finally agreed to take a look because it turns out the employee who helped me never put my information in the system. she told me to come back in 40 minutes. I stayed near the store while I waited and watched her "take a look", the whole time she was lallygagging around the store putting up Christmas decorations. so after 15 minutes of this, I came back into the store and that's when she started opening my screen, telling me to give her 20 more minutes. she pretended to do whatever it is they do, just to tell me there's nothing she could do. Read moreThe first day that I went to get my screen replaced, I didn’t realize that there was an error. I was no longer able to hear if someone called me. I took my phone back to the store the very next morning, and Trevor was an absolute sweetheart. He was very honest about the fact that he had another phone ahead of me, but he was so incredibly pleasant and apologetic that I couldn’t be upset with him. I went grocery shopping and came back about an hour later and it was waiting and ready to go!! I’m in customer service so I know how challenging that job can be when a customer is upset. Trevor handled it like a pro and I REALLY appreciate his OUTSTANDING custoner service!
Update:
The issue actually wasn’t resolved. While the screen looked better and I could hear when people called, the microphone was damaged and people were no longer able to hear me when they called. In addition, the screen that was used was very cheap and distorted the image quality. I ended up taking my phone to another provider in order to get it fixed.
