The Starbucks Brand Mission is to inspire and nurture the human spirit — one person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time. Their values deliver performance through the lens of humanity. I have experienced these corporate standards in every Starbucks location until my sister and I, along with my registered service animal dog, a 10 pound tiny maltipoo, stepped into this place today after a 14-hour drive from Miami, FL. Manager Tony was quick to intercept my sister and my dog aggressively at entrance, soon after confronting me as well, displaying a humiliating attitude and threatening tone as I informed him my dog had all credentials to be allowed at the location, and we complied with all ADA provisions. Cashier Kyeleigh was just as hostile when I entered the location, her disservice was appalling. When we finally paid for our breakfast and proceeded to seat, we also placed our dog's disposable and clean tiny bowl on the floor (not at table as per ADA provisions) to feed her after our long trip. Manager Tony walked to our table to confront us again, refusing any dialogue, and forcing us to leave his establishment threatening us with contacting the police without any reason other than him not allowing us at what he called his establishment. I have communicated this episode to Starbucks corporate headquarters. If this is the allowed behavior and culture of discrimination and harassment of the Starbucks brand, let...
Read moreI visit this Starbucks almost every day and spend a significant amount of money here, but my experience today was deeply disappointing. I made a purchase at 10:15 AM, then went out briefly to run an errand. When I returned an hour later to continue working on my computer, I asked for a simple cup of ice water. Danny, the associate, informed me that he couldn’t provide it. However, just an hour ago, a Caucasian woman had asked for water and received it without issue.
I accepted the situation and sat down to continue my work, but five minutes later, Tony, another associate, approached me and told me that I would need to leave unless I made another café purchase. This treatment felt discriminatory, and it was hurtful. I visit this store almost every morning, and to be treated this way after spending so much time and money here is simply unacceptable.
I hope the management will look into this incident, as it has left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome at a place I...
Read morei visited starbucks today 2/3/24 at 11am and chick in the window was very rude. when i arrived, the screen to order was completely black, which i’ve never seen happen there, i said hello 3x and pulled forward thinking the machine was not working. when i pulled to the window i advised the girl that the screen was black and i said hello several times and got no response while the screen remained black. she states with an attitude, “ well i was helping another customer so you just have to be patient, and also i’m not supposed to take your order at the window!” i then proceeded to explain to her that there is no way that i could’ve have known 1. that you were helping a customer bc you never said anything , and 2. the screen was completely black, so how would i know it’s working if it’s black and you are silent. Very poor customer service, please give this girl some extra training. everyone else that works there is always pleasant. i left with...
