Los Bravos Roswell Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Georgia

We used to eat as Los Bravo's regularly when we lived in Marietta and loved it so we try to make it there when we're visiting. Most recently that was about a week ago on Sunday and what a letdown. First, we never got additional chips despite asking and being told yes. Next, we're vegetarian and like their taco salad so we got the chicken taco salad, but substituted broccoli for the chicken. The bill arrives and they've tacked on an extra $4 to each of the two Taco Salads we ordered. I ask the waiter and he tells me to talk to the cashier. I ask the cashier and she tells me that while we understands/agrees with me that there's nothing she can do as she doesn't make the rules and nobody is there that can help. Why not just charge an extra $20 or $30 then if that's the thought? If you're going to hammer us with an upcharge like that it should have been disclosed when we were subbing broccoli for the chicken. Adding almost 50% to the cost of our meal because we removed chicken and added broccoli is unacceptable. My daughter wanted to order a dessert and we had to explain why we weren't putting any more money in this business' pocket. You don't have to worry about me complaining anymore as we won't...

Me and my coworkers came here the other day for drinks after a long work shift. All 3 of us ordered 3 different margaritas a piece and two shots on top of that. We weren’t really there for the food but we ended up ordering food for us to go. The first red flag they ended up bringing me my food on a regular dine in plate when I asked them to pack my food to go, not once did I touch or eat my food because I was planning to do that at home. The second red flag is the utensils they have for the food are DIRTY and had food RESIDUE ON THEM. So I knew for a fact I didn’t want to eat there. Once me and my coworkers were done with our drinks I used the restroom and ended up slipping out of the restaurant without my food. My waiter or the restaurant manager never tried to get my attention of me leaving my food in the table. I end up calling them the next day stating what happened and telling them the food was already paid for and I have my receipts as well. I end up speaking to a manager in person where I was told I could not get my food for free or discounted. How can you not give me something I’ve already paid for? And Had the receipt for? This place is UNETHICAL and I WILL NOT RECOMMEND this...

Will not visit again. Would not recommend, with so many other choices in the area.

The food was nothing special, just alright. The fish tacos were pretty good. The cheese dip and guacamole dip were below average, even for a tex-mex place.

The service was well below average. I ordered a combo plate and the server did not ask what meat I wanted in my various dishes - all came out as beef. Not what I wanted but it wasn't bad. A food runner brought our food and the server immediately came over and asked if everything was alright. We did not see her again until 20 minutes after we were done with our food and ready to leave. The restaurant was not busy at this time. During this time I noticed her sitting at another table with coworkers, walking and eating, and once at the bar with a customer, finishing her meal with him.

There are several great authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. Sadly still looking for something decent to hit the spot when we are in the mood...
