This place is very good. I haven't been to many butcher shops in the ATL area, but Heywoods is great and I get there as much as I can. Always quality meats and very helpful staff. Patrick is a great guy and you can tell he loves his business. We've purchased everything there from a big reserved turkey for a family holiday visit to awesome deli meats for work lunches to outstanding sausages to clutch steaks to fresh trout. Read moreThey are across the street from me, I love it, but even when I lived in Sandy Springs and Roswell I would still come out here. The Wagyu flank is a favorite, the ultra Wagyu strip is Soooo good. I've never had any other Biltong, but theirs is so good I always end up buying 2 packs of it. Their Xing Chiang sausage is the best, it's good for any meal, sweet and spicy, it's especially good in ramen with their beef stock as the broth.
I haven't had a bad experience here yet, not sure why I hadn't left a review until now, but they are the only place I buy...

Got a prime brisket there for New Years, it was a great piece of meat and I got great service to go with it. Knowledgeable and skilled staff who were willing to take some time to provide tips and advise. Meat was much better quality than what I've seen at Costco and supermarkets in person and from YouTube.
