My journey to flavor-vana begins inside the brightly lit and energetic atmosphere of the restaurant, where I was immediately greeted by a charismatically jovial hostess, who offered us immediate seating in the sunny patio area. The first thing I noticed upon sitting down the was light and invigorating breeze. I'm not sure if the Lord God our Savior always smiles upon Taqueria Tsunami with a luscious breeze, but he certainly did this day. I was immediately greeted by a charming and wholesome saint of a server, who's smile brightened my table as much as the sunlight. She immediately brought my requested beverage of choice for Latin fare, a tantalizingly crisp ice cold Coca Cola, which I can only assume is shipped in daily from the semi-local Coca Cola factory. Partially of my own accord and partly at my servers suggestion, I settled on ordering three tacos with a side of Jalapeño Queso Tots. I will describe each delicacy at length posthaste. The first tangy taco to twiddle my taste buds was a Vietnamese Beef Bulgogi mix topped with a crisp cucumber salad (pictured bottom right). It was succinctly sweet and suggestively spicy, while maintaining a neutral balance due to the fresh cucumber salad that anointed the ridge of sweet meat mountains below. This made for a wholly unencumbered start to the meal of many lifetimes. I then moved on the the whole rib and mushroom taco (pictured bottom left). This hearty and heavenly combination was a savory contrast to the sweetness of my previously consumed taco. Perfectly sautéed mushrooms blended fantastically with the rich flavors of prime rib, with a hint of a southern spicy BBQ, only to be capped with a invigorating green bed of slaw that I can only describe as an ethereal experience. Being two thirds of the way through my meal, I found myself mourning the unfortunate truth that was my last remaining taco. However, I experienced baptism through Baja with my final taco - Baja Chicken. With a delicate mix of pineapple de gallo, teriyaki chicken, and a drizzle of Sriracha mayonnaise, this elegant yet sexy toss of fruit and veggies combined with salty and spicy meat and sauce resulted in a one way ticket to flavortown. Finally, allow me to describe my side - Jalapeño Queso Tots. The only way to describe this dish is that it is the crunchy and creamy love child of a gay Napoleon Dynamite and Pedro power couple. It's so delicious that even a lactose intolerant Trump supporter that is watching his starch intake would be forced to eat it. Overall, the total summation upon finishing my meal is that there are no chefs at this restaurant, and there is no kitchen; there is only the human embodiment of whatever god exists that is immaculately conceiving these awe-inspiring and paradigm shifting convocations of flavor. But the fortune cookie wasn't home made in store. 9/10 would travel 200 miles to eat again.

Stopped in today for the first time and found the place to be… satisfactory? Our waitress, Eloise, was really nice and friendly - but I had to go to the hostess station and ask to have a server sent to our table after we had been seated for about 10-15 minutes. We each ordered the Quatro which is 3 tacos and a side, and the tacos were good, however the chips were bland, with no salt or pepper on the table, and the salsa didn’t have much flavor. My boyfriends order was messed up - he ended up with a quesadilla and 2 tacos and he said that they were ok, not great. He asked for hot sauce and the server replied that there was a siracha shortage and she would bring something out… she didn’t know what they had. We also each ordered a margarita, for $10 they were in a small tumbler with quite a bit of ice, and flavor was ok. Tacos and Margaritas make the world go round for me, and there are plenty of our spots in the area that do them better. If you like the fusion aspect and are in the square though, this is convenient and friendly.

I would give my overall experience a 3.5-3.8 but giving it 4 stars because I see the potential. None of the food i had was hot. It was all lukewarm or on the colder side. I came here on a Wednesday afternoon. It was a 20 minute wait but it really only took 5 minutes we ordered the short Rib Quesadilla to start. It was lukewarm but it had a good amount of flavor. We got a side of Yucca fries and they were cold. Ordered 3 tacos and a side of tots. The tots were lukewarm at best. I ordered the rich man taco, Thai chicken taco, and the pacific rim taco. The pacific rim taco was a bit warmer than the other 2 but again just not hot enough. The tacos all have enough flavor so I would like to return but just have it fresh. Its weird because its so packed and busy you would think the food would be coming out very hot. Ordered the Jalapeño Cilantro margarita and it was good and strong. I would come back but I hope for the experience to be a bit hotter.

First time visiting this restaurant as it was recommended to us by a friend. Top notch recommendation for sure . Drinks were exquisite ! Pictured are a grapefruit margarita and a samurai sling . For an appetizer we chose Asian nachos which were delicious. The dish wasn’t heavy with queso, it was balanced perfectly. By the time we had a few bites Of our appetizer our main course had come out. Short rib quesadilla portioned perfectly and not too heavy of a dish. Shrimp tempura taco had incredible flavor! My second taco was chipotle like chicken and after I took a bite I wanted to order 4 more , the chicken was cooked perfectly!! It was moist and was complimented with the other toppings. I had tried fried yuca for the first time as a side and it was definitely enjoyable. The meal did not disappoint neither did the staff who were friendly and prompt, 5 stars !! Thank you and definitely try this place out if you are visiting Marietta!

Such a crazy idea that it might just work! Just like the name implies, this is an Asian-mexican infusion restaurant and it is fantastic! The food is phenomenal and so many unique choices! They have a decent amount of vegan options or made to order vegan options as long as you read carefully and ask to omit ingredients like sour cream. I ordered the tofu taco, the garden taco and the Korean fried cauliflower taco. The fried cauliflower was absolutely incredible! Even if you're not vegan or hate cauliflower, this is delicious, and might change your mind! I also had a side of yuca fries, which were fried to perfection! The place was very crowded and it took us over an hour to get a table. The staff was polite, not overly friendly, but it may just from being so busy. There is a small bar in the back and decent bathrooms. Overall this was a great place to eat and I highly recommend going if you're ever in the square!

Visited location on a Monday around lunch time. This was my 1st time here and I can't wait to go back to try EVERYTHING on the menu!! Restaurant was already full when we arrived, and there was a steady stream of patrons coming and going. Nonetheless we were seated quickly, and the wait staff was prompt. Our waitress was very friendly. I ordered the Quatro (3 tacos and a side)- Asada Zing Taco, Shrimp Tempura Taco, Chipotle Lime Chicken Taco and Tots w/ jalapeño queso. The food arrived in a timely manner, and was DELICIOUS. I can't decide which taco was my favorite, and honestly, I might have had one taco too many. I'm very full right now. During my next visit, I might order the trio (2 tacos and a side) instead. I'll definitely be back. And you should go give it a try!! 👍🏾
