I've been a patient of Low T Nation for over a year (I began with them in December of 2109). I'd like to share my experience of being a client with them, as well as to explain what a man can actually expect when beginning TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy).
Let me first give a personal commentary about TRT, and why I chose to begin it: (bit long, but it may help someone looking to make this decision)
For myself, it was hard to really define - but I knew that something had "changed" with me physiologically as I advanced through my 40's. (I'm just shy of 51 now) I just did not have the energy, or drive that I had in my 20's and 30's anymore. I found myself coming home from work and just wanting to sit on the couch more and more. As a result, my waistline started to slowly increase. Sure, the argument can be made that I wasn't doing the common sense remedy of getting up and exercising. And, that would be 100% correct.
But the difference was - I just couldn't find ANY motivation or desire to "get up off my a**." None... It was like a switch had been flipped to "off" inside of me. I wondered for a while if I was suffering from depression, as I had always been an outdoorsman, adventure type of person. And here I was just wanting to sleep in on the weekends, and watch TV/play on the computer. Life was just sort of "there", but I didn't feel like I was really a part of it like I had used to be. Meaning, an active participant in it. It just felt like everything took a big effort. I was sick of feeling like this, and knew I had to do something about it - Now.
In 2019 - I started looking online after hearing about TRT on Joe Rogan's podcast, and from a couple of other people.
I found Low T Nation's videos on YouTube and was curious. So, I called and spoke with Brandon. I was immediately impressed with Low T, and their professionalism. He explained the whole treatment protocol, the cost, and answered any question I had ( and I had MANY. ). I was impressed that They could treat me not being in the State I live in. 100% legal, and medically supervised as well. No "fly by night" anabolic scripts that I have to get filled. No hidden fees, no office visits, no contract.
The first thing we did was a full blood panel. This was done at my convenience at a LabCorp location. (its also included as a part of my TRT plan - so I never have to pay out of pocket for it. These are a requirement for any Low T patient that must be done every 6 months. It is not optional.)
Once the results were in, I had a consultation (telephonic) with a P.A. who interpreted my results and made a recommendation of TRT, and a starting dosage. ( this included an Aromatase Inhibitor, as well as HCG - both of which are components of TRT.)
I agreed and once the paperwork was completed, and the M.D. signed off on it - I received a FedEx package ( and I still do every month ) with every single thing I needed. (Testosterone Cypionate, HCG, Mixing syringe, Bacteriostatic water, insulin syringes, AI capsules, and even alcohol swabs) It is a complete "turn-key" TRT program.
For those wondering, this TRT protocol consists of you giving yourself 2 subcutaneous injections a week ( I do mine on my abdomen ). These are NOT Intramuscular (big needle in the butt cheek) injections, and very little pain. Additionally, you take an AI (aromatase inhibitor) capsule with each injection)
The results have been incredible... It has helped me drop over 60 pounds, and get back into life as an active participant. It's almost hard to describe the change it has made in me without it sounding fake, or like I'm some paid testimonial.. ( I certainly am not..)
That "off" switch was turned back to "on". I can honestly say that this was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. If you're on the fence, or looking for a trustworthy, reputable TRT provider - give them a try. There's no one I would recommend more than...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have to admit, at first I was skeptical about the entire notion of TRT due to past experience. That said, going to Low T Nation, LTN and how they've worked has not been what I expected what so ever. It's been better than I could have expected in every sense.
Not only do they work quickly and efficiently; wow! Do they work. They got the lab work done quickly, I spoke to their doc, and their pharmacy put a package in the mail. This is where they earned their stripes. Fedex, being Fedex, "lost" the package. And when I say "lost", I mean to say, I'm pretty sure the driver was trying to "allocate" the package for himself. For a lot of reasons, I'm confident that accusation is correct. None the less, the important thing to know is that LTN went out of their way to get my supplies to me.
Adriana is amazing. She is your main POC, and if you need something, she makes it happen. The NP that I spoke to, WOW, she knows her stuff. This too is a place that LTN shines. The NP was able to speak to other options that can further enhance your TRT that may surprise you. It surprised me, and I've been around this "stuff" for decades. This isn't my first rodeo.
All that to say, nothing about your TRT will be confusing, there will not be a surprise (unless FedEx drivers try to take your stuff), your service will be on the money, and best of all; the people at LTN absolutely rock. There is a bit of a price to it; however, the service and the people more than make up for the slight premium. (by that: you'd see a HUGE difference with LTN v. the providers that promise you $99/mo. No way your getting the service and options that you get at LTN).
If you're even slightly considering LTN, just call them. I've been on TRT for a hot minute because I'm 51 and a gym rat. And they way they make sure I am where I need to be within my limits, they get you there faster and more consistently than ANYONE I've ever worked with.
I cannot recommend them highly enough. I feel like I'm 25...
