I wasn’t going to respond again, but your last reply was completely unacceptable. First of all, I did shop with you—I've attached photos as proof. To deny that and accuse me of using a fake account is not only false but incredibly disrespectful.
What really shocked me was how the owner handled everything. Instead of taking responsibility, you told me to buy frozen chicken next time if I wanted something more “within my budget”—as if that excuses serving unsafe food. My 9 year-old son was throwing up all night after eating your shawarma, and that should have been taken seriously I wouldn’t had left another review if you took accountability. If you’re selling a shawarma for $15 it should have quality and not be bland and you should not get food poising from it.
All I wanted at first was an apology, but instead, you doubled down with accusations and tried to turn this on me. I have no issue sharing my full experience and the proof I have. If this is how you treat paying customers, people deserve to know. Since you wanna talk about law Let’s be clear: serving expired or spoiled food isn't just unethical — it’s a violation of public health and safety laws. Under food safety regulations, restaurants are legally required to ensure that all food served is safe for consumption. Selling or serving expired chicken that causes food poisoning can lead to serious consequences, including health department citations, fines, and even license suspension. If you're knowingly serving expired or contaminated food, you're putting your customers at risk — and that's not just bad business,...
Read moreThe food and service here are both incredible. There are both Venezuelan and Turkish options, so you can enjoy some tequeños or empanadas before your shawarma. The owner is very friendly and really wants to make sure you enjoy your experience. He explained different options and recommended the shawarma pita (over the wrap). I’m a big fan of this type of Turkish food and this absolutely did not disappoint. If you like spicy food, ask for some peppers chopped up and put in the food; they’re very flavorful. They even have different Venezuelan and Turkish drink options in addition to the normal sodas. Whether you’re new to Turkish or Venezuelan food, or you’re a connoisseur, absolutely stop by and give it a try. I’m confident you’ll be glad you did. Once you do, make sure you support this new local business and recommend it to your friends. I’ll...
Read moreA very respectable attempt for bringing Turkey to Marietta. I was confused that it was a food truck in a parking lot. But they seem to be open at this location every day. The Chicken Döner was on a revolving holder just like in Turkey. It is seasoned very well and for a $13 sandwich, the amount was reasonable. I think where it missed top rank for me was that the sandwich itself was a bit dry. I love the green sauce but it isn’t Turkish per se. I would have used mayonnaise and more of it as would be in Turkey. Also, it would help to either dip the wrap/bread in juice or use some pepper paste too. I will ask for extra onions next time. Will definitely come back. Their menu is very limited: They only make 3...
