I stopped by to pick an order up for my son (it was Tues. at 2pm) only 2 cars in the parking lot. Admittedly, I was double parked in front of the door. Being that I was not certain if they were open (no cars). As my son got into the car and I placed my vehicle into drive, a large older caucasian man with a disgusted look on his face gestured for me to open my window. I attempted to wave him away but he was persistent. When I hesitantly rolled it down a little, he said “You can’t park here”, I replied “I am leaving”. As I turned my head to leave he repeated himself, “You can’t park here”. I said “Did you hear me say I aM lEaViNg?” He then said “You can’t park here, I am the owner”. I do not know what he thought that his repetitiveness and whimsical assertion of authority was going to accomplish with me. Nonetheless, I replied with “Ok, Have Fun!” and drove away. At this point, he will never have to worry about me or anyone I know EVER parking, dining in, or patronizing his obviously bland establishment (based on reviews by others and by my son). Just in case “The Owner” reads reviews, there are many ways you could have handled that situation with respect for your customer as well as yourself, instead of like an angry “get off my lawn” grumpy old man. I can only assume you did not like the inconvenience I caused you, or was it the fact that an POC was in front of your business, or perhaps this is the manner in which you communicate with all POCs. HHHMMM that might explain why the young lady who works for you looked so miserable.
Do better “The Owner”, your behavior was...
Read moreI drove a few of my team members here for lunch recently. The last time I came, the front entrance was closed due to some painting or renovating, and I entered through a different door. During this visit, I assumed the front door wasn’t actually the right door to enter through so I led my friends through the dining room toward the other entrance area when we were stopped by the waitress and asked “didn’t you see the sign saying to wait to be seated!?” Then she walked us all the way back to the front entrance and said “I guess I need to move this sign in the middle of the walkway so people see it. I was on my way to seat you all. I’m only one person.” Her tone was rude, like she was disgusted by us, and I felt like she didn’t want to be bothered with us due to the apparent mistake I made by thinking we entered the wrong door. Then she tells us “sit wherever you’d like.”
Her attitude was so rude and abrupt, I wanted to leave, and I would have if my friends had not wanted to stay and the traffic on Cobb Parkway had not been so bad. The vibe between us and the server eventually got better but it felt like we had to cater to her to suit her vs. being a paying customer.
The food was great! . My pizza was good and my friend’s grits were amazing, but I’ll never return.
I don’t care how good your food is, there’s no way I would ever risk being treated like that again by your staff. I don’t think I’ve ever been greeted in such a rude manner and, looking back, I wish I’d demanded to leave. You won’t ever get the opportunity to...
Read moreYou're better off buying a take-and-bake from Kroger than wasting your money on this. My wife ordered a buffalo chicken pizza with bacon and mushrooms to go along with 20 wings, 10 of which were to be lemon pepper, the other 10 hot Louisiana bbq. We ordered through DoorDash - not because we wanted to, DoorDash sucks, but because we had a gift card - and when the food arrived the pizza was about the size of a Pizza Hut personal pizza. That would've been fine had the order been carried out correctly. But of course it wasn't. The pizza was missing mushrooms, and the wings were 20 COMBINED lemon pepper/hot Louisiana bbq. And all for the tidy sum of $53.
Seriously, go to your grocery store, get the most expensive frozen buffalo chicken pizza, cook up your own bacon and mushrooms, buy a big bag of frozen wings, and make your own sauce. The quality will be better, you'll know you're getting the right food, and you'll have saved at least $25. This place would've been better off left empty, haunted by the ghosts of the old country cookin' place that used...
