On October 17th, my husband called around 2:30p to ask if they would have the New Orleans Saints game playing later that night. The store confirmed and he let them know that we would have about 25-30 people coming in later to watch. When we got there around 9:15p, we only had a portion of our party there. There was not any room in the bar and we advised that we would mostly be getting drinks and not food. We stood at the front for 10-15 minutes watching the servers argue who was going to take the table right in front of us. One of the servers gave us a “talking to” before we even got sat, stating that we “better tip” them because they have to tip out to the bartender and it’s not fair to them that we were only getting drinks. We let them know not to worry about not getting tipped, we are in the service industry. We finally got sat. We started ordering drinks. Some people had to wait multiple rounds to get their first drink. We had more of our party join throughout our time there. Some people did order appetizers and food. We sat at two long tables back to back, room on each side for walking and avoiding any hazard opportunities. One server brought out Ultimate Nachos to one of the tables, called for it a couple times, no one claimed them, went to the next table and called for it, my cousin claimed them at the end of the table. The server looked at my cousin and said “come and get them” and set them down at the opposite end of the table and walked away. It took forever for the server to come and get payment when we were ready to leave. Luckily, I know how to work the QR codes so I was scanning everyone’s phone to get them their check and pay. Regardless of the service we received, we still tipped well and treated the servers with kindness. The next day, a few people from the group returned the next night and there was a sign on the door that said, “After 9p, parties bigger than 8 will not be able to be sat together. We ask that all guests remain in their seats while being served. We appreciate your patience and understanding.” I find it extremely baffling that a sports bar can’t handle a larger party than 8 sitting together. I also am confused because no one was moving seats, we just had people join as they came in. If you can’t handle large parties, then you can’t handle the business you are running and your team needs improvement. I work at Buffalo Wild Wings and have worked there for 6.5 years. Daily and weekly we get parties that are 30-60 people and we have never put a sign on the door saying parties can’t sit together. Furthermore, on the second visit, the server once again complained about not getting tipped by other tables. Maybe the reason the servers aren’t getting tipped is because they are unprofessional and rude. I would never speak to customers the way they did or treat them the way we were treated. The service was poor and embarrassing for any restaurant.
Update: I requested someone from the store to reach out and I have still not received a phone call. I even submitted my review to the corporate website as they asked in response to...
Read moreI am not one to usually write when I have a bad experience some place. BW3 is a place I order food from often and enjoy going to. The atmosphere is always great, the place is clean, and the food is decent. However, on Saturday November 23, 2024, my family and I chose BW3 as the place to hang out to watch The Ohio State game. From the get go our service was not going well. Our waitress, mixed up drink orders multiple times (simple beers like bud light), and after the initial first round of drinks and food she not one time came back to check on us. If we needed things we had to flag her down and ask. Then usually ask again because she would forget. The place was not busy at all so that did not explain the lack of service. Also, she began "policing" our drink orders, telling us we needed to slow down and saying we needed to order more food. We were not being overly rowdy or disrespectful but the service was so slow that it was taking 10-15 minutes to get a draft beer so we were trying to order a couple at a time or within close succession so as to not have to wait so long. She would not allow us to order two at a time, and maybe that is a bar rule I'm not aware of but then she brought food to our table that we didn't order and charged us for it because she felt we needed to eat more. Also, the portion sizes were lacking in comparison to the price we had to pay for things and she left our dirty, empty plates on the table so long we ended up taking them back to the kitchen ourselves because they sat there for at least an hour. She took glasses a couple of times but only when we held them up to her as she tried to walk away. Then to top things off, after the whole table watched the waitress take the card of the person who paid our tab and bring him back the receipt to sign, we left. She then came out to a couple members of our party that were chatting before leaving and accused us of skipping out on our bill. My remaining family members went back in to find the signed receipt to give to the waitress, which they found within 30 seconds, and heard her bad mouthing us to the kitchen staff and saying we had skipped out on our bill as they went into the kitchen to give her the receipt showing we paid. Overall, this waitress gave our table the worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. I wanted to go back and say something and realized, it wouldn't matter. I came here instead to share and say service and quality of food is going way down at the Marion BW3, especially for a $400 bill. I won't be dining at this establishment anytime soon.
BW3 please do not respond with you are sorry for this and to fill out the survey on the receipt as I have seen that posted on the last couple reviews and yet your servers are still rude, unprofessional and driving your business away. My family and I are not looking for compensation especially from a place we don't plan to come to again for a while. What I want is for you to hold your staff accountable for their actions and improve...
Read morefood was poor. the Orion rings were horrible on the appetizer. the nachos barely had meat on them. also asked to set by the game going on and literally was set across the restaurant from the game i wanted to watch. and many table were available right next the the game on multiple tv's. then our entrees came out and my wife and i got the bacon cheese curd burgers. now you would think with that combination on a burger it would have to be good. but was a huge let down. burgers over cook, hard luke warm cheese curds, the onions on the burger were horrible also. just a let down. we havent been to this restaurant in about a year and a half because of poorly made food and bad management. but had hoped and heard it had gotten better. i think it will be a long time if ever that we give this restaurant another try. i do have to add that our server was the only one in half the restaurant and had way too many tables for one person to handle. she ran her butt off and did the best job she could. im definitely not blaming her for our poor food quality and major let down. ive eaten at many other BW3 in Columbus and surrounding areas and the food is never horrible like this. i mean cmon man its burgers and tailgate food, not rocket science. also i didnt use the restroom but my wife did. it was messy not paper towels and the stalls had no toilet paper. i cant believe people...
