Attaboys Comfort cuisine — Restaurant in Marion

Had a group of 15 at an event less than 2 miles away… I did a quick google search and found this place maybe 10 spots down the list… called to see if they could take a party of 15 about an hour later (3:30 on a Sunday afternoon)… they told us they would have a table set up for us… we got there about 10 mins early and the tables were being set up… we had quite a bit of food to order… I only got a few pics of my food and the food around me… for starters I had the special… chicken dinner and this was a steal for the amount of food for the price with 3 big pieces of chicken and sides of corn on the cob and a loaded baked potato… chicken was really good… as was the loaded baked potato… corn on the cob was standard in a good way… was covered with butter and the dish it came in kept the butter there so it could be soaked up with the whole cob… the wife got a chicken Philly with no vegetables with no veggies and she really enjoyed it… fries were good also… my youngest ordered the kids chicken and waffles and this serving was an adult serving..! Chicken was good as were the waffles and the loaded fries..! My sister ordered the loaded philly potato… a really unique dish that hit the spot along with Mac n cheese and it had the spiral pasta which was a pleasant surprise…

Ordered a turkey club that was described as "piled high" and ordered a Side of collard greens. The sandwich was very sad. It consisted of buttered soggy Texas toast, a wilted piece of lettuce, a small slice of tomato, and the kicker was the turkey! It was a folded over piece of Kroger lunch meat, a very small thin piece, that had I not opened the sandwich, I never would have known it was there! The collard greens had more broth than greens. The flavor of the greens was good . I requested hot sauce. I got hot sauce but it's $.55 for a tiny little cup! I've never been charged for condiments at a restaurant before. Hot sauce and salt and pepper have always been on the table at other restaurants or if not on the table, they bring it to you free of charge. Next up, dessert. The Peach Cobbler was extremely dry bread with 2 small slices of peaches, and no juice in the cobbler. It was a dry, sticky mess. The bread tasted like biscuit dough. I couldn't eat it. I had to send my Iced tea back because it was water, tea flavor and ice. I got lemonade instead, which was better. This was my 1st and last visit to this restaurant. Omg the Philly Cheesecake Potato Skins are the Best skins I have ever had and we have eaten skins from alot of places around the world (Retired Military 2018)

I had Fried Chicken and Blue berry Pound Cake waffles are to die for omg chicken cooked to perfection with a seasoning so southern made your mouth water and leave you wanting more. The Blueberry Pound Cake Waffle was exactly that a pound cake waffle moist n dense and very good.

My husband had The Great Gatsby Porterhouse and said it was Very Well done. He also had the Southern Mac n Cheese He said even though it's not true southern Mac n cheese it was yummy.

The Owner gave is a free piece of Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake it was spot on cool n creamy. Not over powerful on pumpkin spice flavor. Our Waitress was attentive and an awesome attitude checked on us often but not over bearing.

This place has a cool unique atmosphere and decor, quiet n lighted beautifully.
