Cook Out — Restaurant in Marion

Absolutely one of the best Cook Out's around and I've patronized a lot of their locations, I love the inside walk up order window area it is closed in so you are sheltered from the weather and that is great because I'm a trucker and it isn't like I can just roll through the drive thru 😀 so that area is awesome especially the fact that they have a big nice sink with warm running water along with soap and paper towels so walk up customers can wash their hands while waiting for their food/order. No tables or a place to sit so don't expect that but most Cook Out's don't and a majority of them just have a walk up window that is out in the open with no kind of place to use the restroom or wash your hands and that is fine with me the NO RESTROOM thing because most people are just trying to get their food and go. Oh but that sink and closed in ordering area is a must and absolutely one of the reasons I patronize this particular location anytime I am in the area . Not to mention the employees at least the ones I have dealt with all have been super awesome and and they offer great service/food with a smile and the kind of personality anyone working with the public especially in the restaurant industry should have keep up the great work crew your hard work and great personalities does not go unnoticed at least not by WE THE CONSUMERS. THE FOOD IS ALWAYS GOOD AND ON POINT! Also from what I can see THE KITCHEN IS SUPER CLEAN NOTHING ON THE FLOORS, ALSO THE ORDERING AREA, THE EXTERIOR AROUND THE BUILDING AND THE PARKING LOT IS ALWAYS NICE AND...

Do not go to Marion cookout! Corporate please consider shutting this location down it is ruining the COOKOUT brand. Before I left my home to get the disappointing meal I even said to myself I’m checking the order in the drive thru, why because if they mess it up there is no way to contact the location directly you get connected to a headquarters which makes you feel like another drop in the bucket. I order my food pull up and proceed to check the 2 trays and they always manage to mess something up.my double burger with cheese only had a half a piece a burger on it. So I show them at the window. They make it again I wish I would have checked thinking they couldn’t mess it up twice there is no way. And look at the pic below. This not the quality you get in Greensboro statesville morganton Raleigh not to mention I have never had any mistakes there. I been to plenty of cookouts for years this is only location that messes up orders consistently . No I don’t want to call corporate again and get a $5 gift card a month later . I went there when the hype was finally starting to die down a little. The cashier was very nice to me and knew what I ordered. Everyone working tonight had masks and gloves on properly. I checked my food after getting it and everything was hot and fresh like they say on their building. The reason why I am giving it a 4 out of 5 though is because of two things. The first reason is because there is no phone number provided by Google, and I wanted to call before I went there (As of right now, there is a executive order that closes businesses after a certain time). Even though it said they were open until 1am, I wanted to make sure beforehand. My second reason is because when I was going to pay, their debit card machines were offline and had to resort to using cash. Thankfully I had enough cash to cover it, which is rare because I never really carry cash. I'm trying to give some leeway since this place JUST opened, and their system could have been overloaded.
