Yuuuumm! 100 stars! We are from California and we haven’t had Mexican food this good since, NEVER! This place is better than California! We love EVERYTHING; the friendly “can do” service from the staff, they like to say yes to their customers. The FLAVOR of their food is AMAZING. We ordered 2 burritos with steak, chicken and shrimp. They were SO JUICY and savory!!!! VERY GOOD QUALITY MEAT and generous portions. The free extras like free chips, queso cheese dip and a nice salsa bar; everything tasted so delicious and fresh. The beautiful vibe and decor with pretty light fixtures, gorgeous comfy booths and bright framed paintings. The convenience, freshness and fast service, unbeatable! Even the soap in the bathroom smells really good, lol. This place is just quality, and for a great price. What a happy find for us today. We will definitely be...

What a great place! I am a regular at the main Nopales and love that.

I have to admit I was apprehensive about the whole "express" concept.

However, we visited today at noon with a party of 18 for an appreciation lunch from work.

They had their regular lunch crowd also.

They took it in stride and in under 15 minutes everyone was served and seated.

I love the ability to personalize your meal making selections that would remind you of how subway sandwiches are assembled before your eyes and by the way - what a huge serving -

I cannot say enough good about my "express" Mexican restaurant.

I’m from San Antonio Texas, so I’m very familiar with Mexican food… 😁 I’ve been to several Mexican food restaurants here in WNC, that people say “You’re going to love this place! It’s really good.” So far not one of them has been “really good”… My son-in-law said this place would change my mind& it did! This place is “really good”! I had the Polo Tropical & it was fantastic. First time in and the guy at the front, I think the owner, was super personable and loved to have a good conversation. Foods absolutely amazing. I got the burrito and pork carnitas and was mouthwatering. All the toppings were great. Only gripe is the queso is thin, but so is Moe’s. Chips were good, salsa tasted like they made it to order. It was that fresh. Great place and I’ll be stopping everytime I pass by coming from Mooresville! This was better than del sur. Haha Oh and the pineapple aqua Fresca was bomb!

Wish we weren’t just passing through or we would come back for another meal. I had eaten almost half of my half before I thought to take a pic for the review. So glad Nopales was recommended to us by a local.
