I visited today to price out a repair for a necklace with a lot of sentimental value. I’d already visited Kay’s, where I was told the price would be $59 and it would be a 2-3 week turnaround because they ship it out to repair it. I figured I should do my due diligence and check Lowden’s as well, especially since they’re a locally owned small business that’s been in the community for 35 years.
The ladies I spoke with were so welcoming and friendly. I was expecting a repair to be a little more expensive but I was wrong. $25 for the repair and it will be ready in just a couple days!! I have been married for 17 years and my wedding set looks BETTER than it did when my husband and I picked it out all those years ago. I am super impressed. Because of the previous jeweler's errors my set required a lot of work (more than just fixing the band that I brought it in for). My Mamaw shared lots of memories about my Papaw, who has been with the Lord for only 2 months!! I also got to catch up with a lady from school.
