Lowden Jewelers — Local services in Marion

I visited today to price out a repair for a necklace with a lot of sentimental value. I’d already visited Kay’s, where I was told the price would be $59 and it would be a 2-3 week turnaround because they ship it out to repair it. I figured I should do my due diligence and check Lowden’s as well, especially since they’re a locally owned small business that’s been in the community for 35 years.

The ladies I spoke with were so welcoming and friendly. I was expecting a repair to be a little more expensive but I was wrong. $25 for the repair and it will be ready in just a couple days!! I brought in my wedding set after one of the bands cracked due to poor workmanship by another jeweler. The staff was great but this review is about the quality of the work the jeweler did. I have been married for 17 years and my wedding set looks BETTER than it did when my husband and I picked it out all those years ago. I am super impressed. Because of the previous jeweler's errors my set required a lot of work (more than just fixing the band that I brought it in for). Today my Mamaw and I went into the jewelry store to have something done for my Mamaw. We had the BEST experience with all the ladies!! My Mamaw shared lots of memories about my Papaw, who has been with the Lord for only 2 months!! I also got to catch up with a lady from school. Needless to say this made my Mamaw day and my day as well. Not only sharing all the memories we also bought the most beautiful necklace!!
