We weren't sure if we were going to get lucky enough to find anything that offered vegan and gluten free options near us in the mountains. But... then we found this place on Happy Cow and they were also open on Sunday. Win-win! We met the owner, Audrey, when we came in. She and one of her employees helped us figure out what could be done with each of the items that interested us to make them both vegan and gluten free. We decided to share the Budda Bowl, but subbed the chicken for a falafel and got the vegan aioli instead of the dairy version. We also split the Pot O' Gold Smoothie but subbed the dairy yogurt for their vegan yogurt. My husband tried the Avocado Toast plain on gluten free bread (They currently have Udi's Multigrain GF, but it has eggs in it so I couldn't eat it). All of the food was phenomenal! Wonderful flavor or profiles and ingredients. It's definitely the best way to have brunch! If you're ever in the area, this place is a must!!

Our first time in Marion, NC, very cute town. We thought we were relegated to eat at Zaxby’s then decided to drive another mile or two North. Came upon Reese’s and I ordered the Buddha Belly salad and my husband ordered the turkey sandwich. Firstly, the salad was topped with freshly grilled chicken that was tender and delicious. All on a fluffy bed of quinoa and rice, chick peas, curly kale, sweet potatoes and corn. Absolutely loved it! My husband’s sandwich did not disappoint either. He expressed his satisfaction several times and then again once we got to the car. price with a bottle of water was just under $30, well worth every bite. I actually couldn’t finish my salad as the portion was quite large. Bonus for dinner tonight! The service and 2 ladies behind the counter were welcoming and kind. A wonderful experience all the way around. We would definitely eat here again and highly recommend!

Wonderful atmosphere, warm an inviting. Not crowded at the time of our experience, connected on a personal level with owner, she seemed delightful. I brought my small child with me, he hardly ever likes smoothies. He LOVED the beet smoothie. As did I, normally I feel like most smoothies are all the same but this smoothie was special, I don't know how they did it, love and freshest ingredients in the world perhaps- but it was magical. I had the Lox bagel. It was also amazing, I don't give reviews normally unless it is insanely good or bad experience. These treats are insanely good. If you are feeling like something out of the ordinary, or something different, or even something comforting and familiar, they have it all. Thanks for having us today. I'm still drooling.

I will try to be constructive in WHY I'm so DISAPPOINTED while not letting my emotions take over. I've been in customer service well over 25 years so I will break down to why the one ⭐ review. #1 The fact an automatic tipping percentage is added when the service had not even been provided is unprofessional and service predictions cannot be done like in our case it took a DIVE.. rock-bottom. #2 Charging $9-10 for appx. 6oz of coldpressed with a tip of $7 is completely a RIPOFF. #3 When ordering a coldpressed and it calls for fresh ginger then my EXPECTATIONS is I will taste the ginger. #4 When going back to inform I cannot taste the ginger my expectations are it will be fixed even if they just add a shot of ginger. #5 When I get told they will fix it my expectation is they take my concern and prioritize me as a customer and NOT tell me "I have two other drinks first to do". #6 15 minutes later I FINALLY got my "fixed" drink BUT I STILL cannot taste any ginger. #7 THIS IS THE REASON GRATUITY SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED UPFRONT!!!!! #8 Worst Southern service that I have come across.

To the owner: It's a shame there is little to no concern or little training and I BET I cannot be the only one who feels this way. Just folks who prefer not to voice their opinion unless...

My buddy and I have a backpacking tradition. We stop at a local eatery before we start the trip, and then we find a place to eat after the trip. Normally they're two different places.

On the way in to Linville Gorge, we stopped at Reese's in downtown Marion. He ordered a turkey sandwich and added bacon. He remarked it was the best turkey sandwich he'd ever had.

I had the Buddha Bowl and it was very good as well. Bonus points for being healthy.

The food was so good that we actually stopped again on the way out.

He got the turkey sandwich again, and I got a salad and the Reese's Oatmeal Bowl (it's a nod to the peanut butter cup)... as I was walking out the door I got a "Protein Bite".

Everything was fantastic, but that Reese's Oatmeal Bowl and that Protein Bites... Wow! If you like peanut butter cups at all, you have to try those two.

One last consideration- there is something for everyone here:

My buddy doesn't focus on healthy food options, but I try to. All the same, we both found meals we really enjoyed at Reese's.

Highly recommended that...

Wow! What a lovely place! We stopped in for a late breakfast/early lunch and we fell in love! This place is possibly our favorite in Marion so far! The staff were super accommodating and very friendly! The smoothies were excellent. A lot of places have very icy smoothies but not this place! The smoothies are creamy, rich and very flavorful! The PB and Jam smoothie was pure perfection in my book!

All 3 of us had a version of the Turkey Jammin sandwich, 1-regular, 2- without the Turkey, 3- just Turkey, add Mayo and switched the Brie out for cheddar cheese. Truly wonderful sandwiches! The apricot jam paired perfectly with the Brie! The bread, oh the bread was such a delight! It was so soft, but held together. The crust was firm but not chewy or too hard. Even the 13 year old loved the bread and she is normally a plain white wonderbread girlie! We will all be dreaming of that bread until our next visit!

We cannot wait to go back! I'm looking forward to trying the Falafel! The salads look amazing! And, of course, we want to try more of...
