I think this was the worst time of anywhere! Had to wait for someone to take our order and then had to wait 50 minutes, that's right, 50 minutes for our food. My husband got the 3 mango shrimp tacos and by the time it came, the shrimp was as hard as a rock! My burrito was ok, but had better there. And there was one worker that was sitting when we went in, and still sitting when we left. Looks like she could have helped do something. It will be a VERY LONG time before we go back. Well we tried again. Was not a good experience. Girl left the register when we were next to take drive thru orders. When we got our food, there was hardly any thing on one of the tostados and one was up side down. I realize everywhere is needing help, but need to take care of the customer in front of you. Won't try again!! Well we tried again. The employee behind the counter was very nice and took out order. It is Taco Tuesday, so we got tacos. I ate the first one, want that good, couldn't find but about a teaspoon of cheese and meat greasy. The next taco, I took one bite and the grease from the meat ran into my hand. Three the rest away! This place used to be good, but has gone...
Read moreTo me the food was average. Tex mex style. The service was fine and the atmosphere was typical for this type of place. The major turn off for me was the " no hand gun placard on the door. As a person with a conceal carry license i had to go back to car and put firearm in glovebox in order to respect their wishes. I think that is nonsense. A person coming in to commit a crime is not going to pay attention to that sign. The only thing that sign does is endanger the customers by letting the criminals know that there are sitting ducks Inside. If there was to be a incident would taco johns take responsibility for the injured since they took responsibility for the customers safety by not allowing law abiding citizens the right to defend themselves? When I see a sign like that is can only assume that the business has taken steps to ensure my safety since Im not allowed to be prepared to ensure my own safety. Overall it was a average experience. I won't return because I don't support companies that don't support 2nd...
Read moreMarion Taco John's used to be a destination. We would drive 40 miles each way to get our TJ's fix. Now that I live 10 miles away and go to Sam's weekly I would go after every Sam's trip, however the last few times have been awful and will not be back again. They actually got me 3 times in a row before I gave up. I was just making sure it wasn't a fluke. From messing up my order, to seeing workers pop ole's in their mouths while sitting in the drive thru looking in, to tacos being all over the place in the partially wrapped wrapper, to the grease dripping out of the ends of tacos all over the place..... I'm done. It's so sad what Marion Taco John's has become. To those that never experienced how it used to be and think this is the norm.. I'm sorry that...
