The food here is excellent, unquestionably. The portions and quality of the fish and kitchen options are incredible. The only mark against them is the poor service. They're a new place that just opened, and I'm sure they're still trying to figure everything out. The servers are young and gaining experience too, so I'm willing to cut them some slack and come back soon. Even though it was a Friday night and it was busy, it's unacceptable that servers were rushing around frantically, often unsure of what I ordered or what the status of anything is. Food took a crazy long time to come out, including simple appetizers like shumai or gyoza, which were no longer warm by the time we got them. The food we did get was amazing, however, and the place is still finding its footing, so it's possible I caught them on an off night or they're still learning how to handle their new popularity, which is deserved considering their high...

We were greeted kindly and seated immediately (it was not crowded).

I will probably not eat here again because I've had better sushi and rolls closer to my house, but it's still worth...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised by my meal! I'm all for AYCE sushi spots, and was delighted to see one open near Marlboro. The kitchen menu is extensive and cooked to perfection! Just the right portions so you can try a bit of everything they offer. The sushi was presented so beautifully on a decorative bridge. Everything tasted fresh and not overwhelmingly saucy. You really have to check this place out. Also, the staff are so kind. I could understand their private conversations [in Chinese], so I knew they were dealing with understaffing issues and were still figuring out how to balance takeout and dine-in orders... but when they came to the table, all of that stress was hidden from view and they gave nothing but smiles and quick service to...
