Frutta Bowls — Restaurant in Marlboro Township

I used to be annoyed with the old owners ways, I walked in and realized that there was new management. Read some reviews out of curiosity and was shocked. The staff is INCREDIBLE. The caucasian review shocked me considering i’m african american and will preach to the heavens this is untrue. I was so happy with my experience I went back 3 times a week for 3 weeks. Unfortunately, the location is just a bit understaffed. I wish that the people of this area would be more understanding of that, but I should’ve known better being that I grew up here. This location is considerate and fast paced, working the best they can to make the customer happy. To those who seem entitled or never satisfied, that’s not good enough. . I had a co worker of mine order a Frutta bowl with no bananas. Once arrived back at work the bowl has bananas in the base. I am highly allergic to bananas. As a Frutta bowl worker in 2016, I know you are supposed to ask if there is an allergy. I called up the store and nicely asked if I could come back and switch the bowl. The “owner” Kacey, informed me she can not and will not help me and will not let me switch out the bowl since we said no banana, she assumed that meant to banana on top and not in the base. With an extensive 10 minute phone call the owner casey was extramely rude and condescending. I can’t believe this type of customer service. The food here is excellent and as per my observations, all of the staff members are very nice. The reason for 3/5 stars is because of the reduced portions. The serving sizes have reduced tremendously. They've pretty much made their small size their regular size. I can't even imagine what the small size looks like now! Before, I didn't mind paying a couple extra dollars to eat here because the food is just that good, and you could honestly get two servings out of a regular bowl. But now, over $11 for a "regular" bowl at it's current smaller, handheld size? Now it's barely enough for one serving! Sorry, but I think this is the last time I'll be ordering from them.
