Messed up order really bad do not go to this place, owner Steve is mean and Disrespectful. I have never been treated with disgrace and disrespect as I have from owner named steve in Marquette mi. This man was do rude belittling and mean and racist. I spent 65 dollars just yesterday on a large family order. The staff did the best they could to get the order correct but there we many mistakes and missing food. My 3 year old had to go without his full meal 2.fries were missing a hamburger three large blizzards two large pops and cheese curds large. I had to pull up and wait a day was starting to b late for an appointment. I had to leave.i called and spoke with a nice manager she assured me she would fix the issue. She was very nice and helpful she wanted to know when I'll be back to get my missing items..I said I was unsure I was late for an appointment I would come after that. My appointment ended 745pm and I work mid nights and was to tired to make it back to maquette....I came the next day and the owner was rude and nasty refused to give me my missing items he was loud and said some mean things and lied and said I was rude to the staff even if it were true it had nothing to do with missing food..and who would b dumb enough to be rude to people handling for..he told me to call judge whopner that what .y people do when I told him I will take this a step further to resolve issue. So I was out slot of money And degraded and mistreated and lied on at the same time. It is time to stop this kind of treatment. Plus I work very hard for my money and I was treated do horribly on this day as I lost my voice worker and friend in a horrible accident on 41 this morning. Stay away from the dairy Queen in Marquette..this could be you and your family next..people deserve to be treated better and no person I know had more ey to just give away. The rest of the staff are nice and helpful. But the owner is an animal....
Read moreThis place is grossly mismanaged and run by a clueless staff. My experience here started bad and only got worse. I came in and stood at the counter for five minutes before any of the several employees acknowledged me. When a cashier finally did see fit to take my order, I asked for a Tropical Blizzard, and sat down at a table after repeatedly having to coax the malfunctioning credit card reader into recognizing my card as the clueless cashier stared at the offending machine slack jawed. The same employee came out a few minutes later, empty-handed to inform me that they "No longer had coconut." More than a little exasperated, I said a Tropical Blizzard without coconut would be fine.
I then watched as my Blizzard sat in the order window for a few more minutes, visibly melting. I had to ask another employee to retrieve it for me. According to Dairy Queen's website, a Tropical Blizzard contains coconut, pineapple, and pecans. The Blizzard I received had banana pieces and maybe pineapples in it. There was no sign of pecans, and the bananas had no business being there. I took two bites of the Blizzard before I realized it had been made incorrectly and wasn't particularly good. It went right in the trash.
I thought about tracking down a manager and complaining, but no part of dealing this place was easy, and attempting to get the incompetent staff to issue a refund didn't seem to be worth the cost of the inferior Blizzard. I left in a much worse mood than when I entered, which is the exact opposite of the effect Dairy Queen should have on me. Whoever is in charge here has no concept of good customer service and has no business being in the fast food business. I'm not spending money here again, and you shouldn't either. It will only serve to make...
Read moreAs a Business Analyst and a former fast-foof restaurant executive, I found that the wait staff didn't have the proper skill set for handling food orders. I was there with my brother who ordered a cheeseburger and fries, and I ordered a hot dog. The cashier did not give either my brother or me a number for our table, I moved ahead to others to get the counter and my brother picked up a number himself. I talked to another employee down the line and was asked what I ordered and was told she would find me. My brother and I got our soft drinks and sat down. My hot dog was delivered in about 2 minutes. I set it aside to for both to get his order. We waited at least 20 minutes and no order! My waved his number at some who was waiting for new customers to come into the store. Someone came to our table after a few minutes asked what was the problem. We told them that he didn't get his food! A short while later they brought his cheeseburger. It was cold! He called them by over to complain! They back to the kitchen and brought back a new one. It was microwaved and was too hot to eat after we had been waiting now for 30 minutes. I would suggest that DQ get a new manager or stop...
