Buck's Sno-Wiz — Restaurant in Marrero

My wife, child and I stop here at least once a month. Today is last visit. Ordered a snowball and a shake, requested that they not overfill it so i could close the lid(because we are in our car). The girl handed me the snowball then a couple minutes later, my shake with whipped creame filled over the top, the lid off and a cherry on top along with a BLONDE HAIR to finish it off. I told the girl that there was hair in the shake AND i also requested the lid sealed. She got wide eyed and took it back. Another girl returns and says "she didnt see any hair in it, so what do you want us to do?" I said "she DID see it, it was very visible, it was her hair color. I want one remade without hair in it" she dissapeared and shortly after returned with "a new one". Okay... they made that one twice as fast as the other one. So i'm sure they just gave me the same one as before. Its Ludicrous to ask me what i want you to do in the first place. If a customer finds hair in a $3 milkshake... Apologize and make a new one. Dont treat me like im liing Or just plain stupid. Not ever returning here, again. Get better help. Make them wear hats or hairnets (as per HEALTH CODE). Theres too many other snowball stands around that have better service and taste just as good(who never allowed hair to enter their products). As for the milkshake... its in the trash. Yesterday, I ordered a banana split. When I finally received it, it was almost completely melted. It was basically a malt. When I questioned the girl as to how long it had been sitting, she was very dismissive. I didn’t ask for it to be remade, so the attitude was not necessary. But I wanted her to see it was in fact MELTED, and maybe take corrective action so others can have a better experience. I still love Buck’s, but I know I won’t be ordering any more banana splits from them. And I’ll make sure to check how many people are actually off to the side waiting before I place an order to prevent receiving melted products or experiencing longer than...

If we're back home visitng and we're on this side of the bank, we're stopping most definitely at Buck's for some snoballs GUARANTEED. The menu options for sizes and flavors are absolutely perfect. You can mix it up and get creative or trying something from their own special menu which is subject to change. The ice is always shaved perfectly with no chunks and the staff is always friendly and very patient. No matter how long the line gets, they always keep their cool.
