Long wait time was unacceptable. They had plenty of hands on deck. Once we were seated it became clear to us how slow they really were and became rather perplexed as to why we waited so long. We were starving and we waited so we stayed. The server greated us and asked us to let us know when we were ready to order and that she was quote "really bored". Well if you're so bored than why the heck did we just wait over a half hour to be sat??? You're bored and you're not short staffed and there's tables available galore. And we waited outside like cattle baking in the sun for over a half hour! You didn't even offer anyone a table for coffee while we waited. The food was IHOP and the icing on this crapcake was their audacity to charge us a "Convenience Fee" on top of our TOTAL TAX. First off....MEMO: A convenience fee is a TAX and therefore my TOTAL TAX is incorrect because you're taxing me additional with this "fee". As a private establishment I recognize the right you have to nickel and dime your patrons as you see fit. I completely understand that but you need to inform us prior to just blatantly charging us for something that is part of your job. I eat out many places and I've never been charged extra for using plastic. Had my server informed me of this prior, I would have opted to pay cash to avoid the "PENALTY". I always tip phenomenal when I go out. How dare you! Beware of this location. You're better off...
Read moreMichelle took excellent care of us despite having an insane number of tables to manage. Her personality combined with the best breakfast dish I've had in MA (Sweet Baby Ray Charles) made this a memorable experience.
My wife ordered the cinnabon pancakes with the frosting on the side, and that was the right call. The pancakes were amazing, improved marginally with some butter, plain old butter on top. The included frosting or maple syrup would have overpowered them and made them too sweet. They were amazing just as they came.
The Sweet Baby Ray Charles was an experience that, in the words of our waitress, will change you. Sweet, spicy, salty, savory, hallucination inducing... My new life's mission is to replicate their cornbread so I can put my own sweet and spicy chicken on top.
Do yourself a favor and get down here. Prices are reasonable despite the egg controversy plaguing Us in 2025, the coffee is good and plentiful, people are fantastic, and the food...
Read moreWe go here pretty often as a family, the waitstaff is wonderful and the food is always on point, consistent and priced well. From burgers to pancakes, eggs Benny to the milkshakes I have yet to get anything that isn’t delicious. Kids never gripe when we wake them up and say “want to go to the hop?” It’s always a definite “YES!” My mom also likes it, she raves about the iced coffee and corned beef hash. Love the decor’, love that it’s family owned and love the food. Thru covid it was a nice place to go to feel “normal” even if we were a booth apart from friendly faces (which were under masks) they handled it quite well and still delivered great food and service in what was a very difficult time for restaurants. So grateful to have them right in town, it’s nice that I don’t have to go far for a great...
