I got a pizza with no cheese, and added olives, spinach, broccoli, and mushrooms, at extra cost each. It was tasty, but the crust was skimpy, not chewy or fluffy. Would have been sweet to have the option to put vegan cheese on it, and would be great to see more clearly-labelled vegan dishes on the menu in general. One thing I forgot to ask was if the veggie toppings were cooked in butter, but it didn't seem like they were, luckily. They said there was no dairy in the tomato sauce.

My friend and I stopped in for lunch Monday. We got the combo appetizer and the spinach and artichoke dip. Both were very generous in portions. I got the Sriracha Club Salad to go and two days later I'm still eating it. There was an entire chicken breast on the salad, lots of fresh veggies, and beautiful greens! The dressing is lovely as well. Not too spicy but a great kick

I love Venus pizza. It is delicious, crisp, pub style pizza. But, there is something for everyone on their menu. The restaurant is also very well staffed, from the hostess, the servers, the bar tenders, to the bus people, there is someone available to help meet your needs. On this occasion we ordered Pizza for our group, Band Together School of Music.

TERRIBLE! I don't know where begin to explain how much I HATED this place.

After spending all day at the beach yesterday with friends we went over to Venus for some drinks and food. The restaurant was not out of control busy but I was told they were short staffed.

Right off the bat, our waitress was one of the rudest humans I have encountered. You know how dull waitresses kind of let off a bad vibe... well this waitress was dull plus a HUGE B**. Any question we asked she would give a snippy remark back (i.e asking about drink price) as if we should know the whole menu by heart.

20 minutes later we got our drink and ordered food. We were a group of 8 but we were all couples who shared a plate so it was really only 4 orders. It took about 45 minutes to get our food, not really out of the ordinary. She put all our food on the table and walked away. Not gave each individual their food, just all of it on the table. And she forgot to put my wings in...

Finally, she handed us our bills and we all paid and left. I look at my bill today, this waitress charged me $10.00 ( my original bill total) and then another charge for $14.00 giving HERSELF a $4.00 tip when I left her $2.00 (still a 20% regardless of her terrible service because she was having a bad day).

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Would be an awesome place if the manager would hire so real waitresses.

I am calling the manager today to see what they will do about the bill. Hopefully that goes better than...

One of the best South Shore Style Bar Pizza joints around. Mondays during the of season are half priced pizza days too! I grew up eating the pizza in the old building that was there before they tore it down and built the huge building that's there now. It's a shame because they have so much space but half of it never gets used. The locals hang out here as well. Typical day in there you'll find a 50+ crowd but during the summer you'll find all ages. I feel like even after all these years they've tried and failed to reinvent. The food definitely needs to be stepped up. Typical bar food quality, nothing really stands out except the pizza. Don't order the steak tip dinner especially and expect your money's worth. The upside is they use Prevites local marinated steak tips, but the quantity is lacking. The included rice pilaf side had vegetables and spices and a hint of yellow color, which wasn't listed on the menu and looks nothing like rice pilaf. The broccoli was a tiny serving and tasted like it came frozen as well. The price was much higher than the quality and quantity of the dish. I love to spend local and I won't stop coming here, but I know what to order and what...

8 Jun 23. Hello all its been 2 years but we are back from ElPaso and dinning at Venus. Again the food is still top knotch as my previous review states. And this time we acknowledge our server Cristine who was very understanding with our request to change tables. She was professionally amiable throughout our visit making us feel welcome and anticipating our needs before we asked. Kudos to the kitchen staff our food was out fast hot and delicious in a business at almost full customer capacity and the busboys keeping the business looking inviting n appealing. Lastly credit to Cristines coworker at next table over. Despite pink lemonade not on the menu the waitress took the extra step to offer grenadine in the drink to meet the customers needs. These two workers displayed the type of initiative and caring that cant be taught. We hope and trust the Venus operators realize that staff working in the trenches with these qualities is what brings back repeat...
