Chip's Hamburgers of Marshfield — Restaurant in Marshfield

While the food was good, the guy that took our order was very rude. We're from out of town and we're placing a large order. I ordered a number 12, told him what I wanted on my burger then that I wanted a large fry and drink, he sighed loudly the started pushing the buttons angrily. He then said in an irritated voice "tell me what size you need then the combo number". I said "I'm sorry. I've never been here before". He continued to be rude the rest of the time he helped us. Then one of the girls filling our order dropped one of the burgers on the floor. She told the guy making the burgers that she needed another one since she dropped it. He started asking how it landed and did it open up. The girl stood her ground and said she needed a new burger since it fell on the gloor so he made a new one. I was just appalled that one of the people making the food would be ok sending out food that had fallen...

We came on fair weekend, thinking it would be a cheap, quick meal for a group of people (not attending fair activities). Well, so did a lot of other people. There were quite a few cars in the drive-thru, but inside it was empty. I went in to order and my husband stayed in the vehicle with the kids. After I ordered 2 family packs, I overheard that there were 12 family packs ahead of ours. I texted my husband, telling him it would be awhile. I stood there for 20 minutes, listening to ornery, rude, ungrateful CUSTOMERS complain and yell at employees. I also watched employees keep their cool, work as a team (actually...more like a family), greet oncoming customers with a welcoming phrase, and whittle away steadily. Waited forever, only 3 cars ahead of me. I get the short staffed. But when you are at the drive thru window and they are too busy laughing and screwing around to even acknowledge that I’m there as a paying customer, rip my credit card out of my hand. Leave windows open as the young girl with a blonde pony tail was laughing and talking loudly with some male employee. I felt they were too busy goofing off and zero customer appreciation. My card was handed back to me, but first she had to compose herself because she was laughing too hard. Didn’t say one word to me and closed the window. Then I listen to more hysterical laughing and 5 minutes later I am handed food without a word. Again. I get being short staffed. I do not appreciate this kind of customer service at all.
