4 minutes ago My first experience at this place. I walk in and I was the only one eating but it said "wait to be seated." A tall woman with curly black hair said I could sit at the bar since it was only me. "They're still some sits seats there." Ok . There were not seats at the bar. Completely full. But a counter in front of the bat was open. 2 people were at one end and 10ft down another 2 people ordered food. Now, they're 4 chairs in between and you sit in front of a white board. I will emphasize that there were CHAIRS there. The area looked like you can just sit up at would be bar area expect your looking at a white board! . People come in and get served. I'm patiently waiting for 30 minutes. Seriously, no one came to say "hi". I'm just sitting looking at a white board. I would look at the waiters but they walked by so fast. After 20-25 minutes of looking at this white board and not being waited on, I decided to play with the white board. I'm irritated and board. I started scratching off the writing on the board because it was in permanent ink. I had to use my nail. I got away with this for maybe 5 minutes. (The bar did get a little quiet). This scrawny little blonde haired guy comes up to me and yells, "could you please mot do that"! He left to deliver food to someone. . When he came back I told him I've been sitting here for 1/2 hour. He said, "well this isn't even a place to sit to be served". Lets just think about that for a moment... I'm at a bar. They said I could sit at the bar but there wasn't room to sit at the actual bar. There are chairs sitting there. Now when I think, what I would do with a chair? A person would sit on said chair, correct? No one said "hello", " would you like something to drink"? NOTHING! I got up to leave and he said "that's ok" and gave me permission to sit there and take my order. . Fat chance! I walked out. It's too bad, I heard they have a...
Read moreIn general, I have enjoyed this place. I like the food and have sampled a wide variety of it and I don’t recall being disappointed in the food. The service has been great a majority of the time as well. The variety of atmosphere is also a positive. Booths, tables, high stools, lower section with pool and arcade, meeting room, dance floor, etc. Unfortunately as a family we have had 2 poor experiences there. The first was when my wife had some appetizer. It was delivered without any dipping sauce. When she asked for some the wait staff brought her some, but then she was billed an additional $0.75 for it. Thought it was weird that dipping sauce wasn’t included with the appetizer, but if it wasn’t, I thought the wait staff should have clarified that before fulfilling the request. The second experience was when I picked up an order. They had intentionally given me a different soup because they had run out. I drove home not knowing. When I got home, I had a soup totally different than what I had ordered. I called and they said they switched because they had run out. I think they should have told me when I picked it up. So I drive back to return it as they didn’t offer me anything over the phone. Then they give me cash back which was less than the cost of the soup, not factoring the tax. It was too busy that night to deal with, but it was poorly handled and unfortunately the restaurant has fallen off our list of places to go regularly. Wrapping up with a positive here... Nutz Deep is a popular restaurant & bar in Marshfield, with a lot of variety in a convenient location...

We went on a Thursday night and the hostess was nowhere to be found. One of the waitresses said to sit anywhere and another waitress would find us. We observed the waitress near the entrance telling that to everyone that walked in that night because the hostess just was not at all. We sat at a random table and a waitress gave us menus and drinks before moving us to a smaller table that was just freshly cleaned off. Took the waitress around 10-15 minutes to get back around to us but there were quite a lot of people in the tables around us so we were patient with it. We ordered our food and first came the mozzarella sticks, they were not like the ones we had last time we visited. These ones were really small and barely had any cheese inside, but these were also brought to us lukewarm and dry. Definitely was not good. Then we got the rest of our food, but specifically I got the Mac-Attack Burger with a side of avocado. There was barely any mac n cheese on the burger, and the few noodles that was on the burger were ice cold. The avocado was also not ripe at all and could barely stick a fork into it. We let the waitress know about the avocado but all she said was "I'm sorry." and left to tend to other tables. I don't know if it was a new cook on for the night or what happened but we were severely disappointed with the food. We really enjoyed the first time we ever went but this experience did not feel worth the...
