So, awesome story here. Since I had burnt food which I was told was not burnt JUST the oil was older. I started asking before buying.
Now as of last week on Thursday they had not changed the oil in over a week.
Now the managers used to say WHEN the oil was fresh that way Im not complaining.
Today I called and spoke to the shift Manager.... and he says it looks good. I didn't ask that when is the last time it was changed?
I am going to call Point, Madison, Wausau, Greenbay, then Im going to call the Ohio and the Tennessee locations that I know. Im going to ask them the protocol.
So either one of two things is happening ALL of the KFCS stopped changing oil frequently OR it is just Marshfield Wisconsins location.
My next step is to report them to the BBB and health ordinance. Stating: your chicken is NOT burnt the oil is just older is unacceptable.
Whoever owns this local KFC needs to turn in his licensing and this KFC needs to close down if this is the attitude of which they are running this business.
Furniture may be different than food but customer service is the same. As a person whose father owned several furniture businesses at one time and I personally ran two of them as a teen to young adult... I literally can vouch that you answer honestly and directly and not go around in circles.
I asked when the oil was changed not how it looks. It looks good. Its not down to the line that we toss it. That doesn't answer my question. When was the oil changed? The oil looks good. Seriously?...
Read moreThe guy who took my order was awful rushed me through the whole process of ordering I ordered a 6 piece box and 3 seconds later this guy is telling me the total of how much I owe, didn’t even ask me what sides I wanted, as he put in the system 4 biscuits I had to ask him if I got to pick the sides and he’s like ugh yeah I guess and then as I’m telling him what sides I want he’s like is that all, is this all you want for sides, he seemed so pissed that I came in to order food during my lunch break, it was the worst customer service I’ve ever seen, keep in mind there was no one else in the restaurant besides me and it was like 5pm the dudes name was like o brien or something his tag said he was the shift supervisor I don’t know how he got that position, hopefully kfc sees this and fixes his attitude...

Afterwards, we decided to run through the drive-thru and have a late supper at my mom's house before returning home on slippery snow covered roads...(2 hours). As I started to order, I looked at the clock and asked the person on drive-thru if they closed at 9, as it was 8:52. He answered yes. I said we would go elsewhere, because I didn't want to be "one of those people". He said it was ok and named off all sorts of things they had ready to go. We ordered quite a bit of food, for 7 people, and left (at 9 on the dot) AMAZED, HAPPY, and EAGER TO RETURN. Boy, if all employees at fast food restaurants could be as professional, friendly, helpful, and encouraging as that guy...On a sidenote, when we arrived at my mom's, the food was all fresh...
