I will never eat here again. the prices are excessively high. They short you on important ingredients. I am very unhappy with my purchase from this place. I ordered 2 burritos and a taco and enchilada plate and it was over 35 dollars.the burritos were supposed to come with guacamole sour cream and lettuce "stuffed inside" according to the menu. This was not the case a dollop of sour cream and a dollop of guacamole came on the side with about 8 pieces of small shredded lettuce. For the prices we pay we should not be shorted on ingredients. Not to mention after placing my order, while reviewing the menu I saw that the prices had recently been increased. a to go menu had burrito prices listed at 9.75 while the inside menu and one I used to order had it listed at 10.60. These things are not acceptable. especially when the receipt they give you is not itemized. the service wasnt terrible but it wasnt great (I did take it to go however) I know people work hard at restaurants and it's not because of the workers that I will not go, it is strictly due to the face that I feel ripped off. As I said the ingredients are quality, but the prices are just unfair. if they're raising prices they shouldnt be cutting down on ingredients. I know guacamole isnt very cheap but about a spoonful worth for a large burrito isnt ok by my standards. There are places I know of in the bay area that are cheaper and give you plenty of each. I hope they get on the right track because this can be a...

We went for dinner on a thursday night and seated in the nice outside seating area in the parking lot. The place was not very crowded, we were maybe the 4th table dining in. Still it took them a while to get the drink orders and serve some chips and salsa. It took them even more to come get our entree orders. Actually we had to signal to call them to give our orders. We tried the nachos, birria de chivo, enchiladas and carne asada taco. Once we were able to place our orders we didnt have to wait too long for the food though. That was nice. However the nachos were soft and soggy, guacamole on the top was almost like made from powder, something was missing.. The sauce of birria tasted only like tomatoes. Even though it says its made with their special sauce, I couldnt taste any spices. It was a bunch of boney, fatty goat meat swimming in tomato sauce. It is server with refried beans and rice. Rice was good, refried beans were subpar. Finally the meat in enchiladas and taco was so gamey, we couldnt finish any of them. Also at the end, we had another episode of waiting for the bill. After waiting for 10 minutes in a restaurant with few tables, we had to go get the bill and pay so we can leave.. The price though was very affordable (except the bottle of sprite which was more expensive than canned coke) but I do not think we will try this Mexican...

Food was delicious, LA Primavera has several servers, this last time we really got a server who did not care to her job, ignored us from the start, we asked for water & a young man brought it , finally she gave us the menus, we waited about 15 min to order ,she came to take our order and seemed annoyed when I asked if the guac had jalapeños in it, a yes or no answer is sufficient, she rolled her eyes and said if you dont like spicy you should eat at home, our food came out , not once did she stop by to ask if we needed anything else, we finished eating and she just stood at the cash register in the main dining room working on some paper, We waited about 20 min for the check, which I had to get up and go ask her. She gave it to me , and I paid right there and then. I don't think she likes to serve a table for 2 persons, maybe the tip is a factor, I am a true believer that if you go out to eat, you have to tip and we are good tippers, most of the time 20 -25% , sometimes a bit more as some servers are absolutely nice and amazing. We all have off days, but it does not give anyone the right to be rude , her comments and eye rolling where out of the ordinary. I will definitely not go back for a while and if we do I will make sure she is...

This place is a hidden gem. It was our first time there. We tried the “El Famoso” burrito. And it was delicious! The best burritos we’ve ever had. Very flavorful and the perfect balance of meat , rice and beans. Ordered one with grilled chicken and one with carne asada. It’s a very generous portion too! It was a Sunday before noon, and it was already pretty full inside . They serve breakfast too. A casual dining atmosphere. We asked to eat outside ( a tented area) because we had our dog (dogs allowed outside)…and was pleasantly surprised that they come out to serve you. The service was great. The music was also a nice touch. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. And reorder the burritos!!

Excellent Food at a Good Price: We wanted to stop somewhere new for dinner and La Primavera had shady parking with indoor/outdoor seating. Outside tables were full, so we went in and WOW! The walls and ceiling were a continuous mural of the town of La Primavera, Mexico by a real artist. Pollo con arroz was our selection and it was wonderful. Atmosphere, staff & food were great and portions generous with many menu selections including all day breakfasts, combination plates and entrees with a choice of sides. Definitely going back!!!

Nothing fancy, but clean and authentic. Interesting design especially with the painted sky ceiling. Overall a little bit outdated, however, serves the need. Service had some hiccups waiting for final bill and checking on the customers. Ordered taco salads represents the stars of this review - flat taste of all the ingredients. The shell was the only thing that stood out. Price wise is very affordable and can be recommended if you don’t wanna spend over $10 for lunch.
