Nu-Rays Bar — Restaurant in Martinez

Perfect neighborhood bar. But note that, aside from tiny bags of chips, they don't regularly have food.* When they do have it though, it is equally delectable AND reasonably priced. Plus if you bring in your own berries, Alissa is capable of muddling them and making you a delicious beverage. Impressively, she can also take a piece of cheesecake and incorporate it into your drink. Results may vary. But also, results are usually fantastic.

*Update: Monday night is chili dogs, Wednesday morning is breakfast burritos, Wednesday night is chicken quesadillas (sometimes pulled pork sandwiches instead), Thursday afternoon is nachos (which are free), and Thursday through Sunday night is pizza slices...

Karaoke here could be the it place if more people would come, it is already busy but I think more would make it that much better! I like singing karaoke on thursdays, I like the variety of ages of people that come in here. I even like the bartenders. However, I am not getting drunk in there because I am on a sabbatical from drinking, I order a Cola. So, I have no idea how they treat a newbie that gets wasted. So do not take anything I say and think this place is where you can go to actually have a good time, because I do not know that. I never stay late to even see if people get drunk there. What I do know is it is lively yet chill place with a support of people that are...

Stopped in Martinez for a Amtrak lay over, this was the first watering hole I made it to...and I couldn't be happier it was. Great atmosphere, option to Bluetooth your phone to a pretty epic speaker, but has AMI Barlink App for on demand "jukebox" selections. Angie is not only super stunning gorgeous, but pours perfect drinks and has an amazimg attitude and brightens the sphere to another level, that I will be taking the train from Salem Or to Martinez to experience it again...it's time we add more stars to reviews, because this is the second place out of....many...places that would score higher...Highly...
