Martinez Campbell Theater — Attraction in Martinez

Marvelous little theater in downtown Martinez one block off of Main Street and close to restaurants and bars. On a rainy, cold Saturday night there was plenty of free street parking but I would imagine it can be more congested depending on the time of year. The theater staff was friendly and polite and the lobby inside was warm and cozy. Wine, coffee and assorted snacks were offered for sale. Our party of four was here for a play, "White Guy on the Bus". The theater inside was smaller than I expected with fairly steep stadium seating. Not a bad seat in the house. The production was professionally staged and performed by local thespians and brought to this theater by WOW (Women of Wonder). My daughter who just moved to Martinez turned us on to this gem. We will definitely return for more little theater productions...

I live in Martinez so maybe I'm a little biased but my daughter who is at the Actors Studio in NY did a show with the cast here and she loved it. It's a cute little theater in downtown Martinez with a fantastic bar when you walk in and a whole lot of personality. The staff is fabulous and the acting is Awesome!! They have actors who have worked in Hollywood and in NY and the shows are so well written and acted. Engaging, entertaining, and just plain fun. If you haven't been here find a play that looks fun and go, I promise...

Excellent time spent here. Very small place, almost personal, with incredibly friendly people. The people and the atmosphere makes you feel like home. I usually go with my wife and my kid and we all have a blast. Lots of parking available around.
