I am writing this review because of how I was treated by a server. I believe her name is Erica. She was working last Friday at 4:45PM when I entered the restaurant.
I am an Instacart Shopper and I am also new to the area of Contra Costa County. I was delivering alcohol to the restaurant and it is Instacart policy that I make sure to review the ID of the person who ordered.
I entered the establishment and asked for the person who placed the order and Erica said she would show me her ID. I said, I do not believe I can do that and I walked out to my car to contact Instacart support.
I learned that I am able to accept ID from anyone at the same location if they are 21 years of age and older.
I went in and signaled her to let her know I was back and ready to check her ID. She gave me the meanest look and I believe in my heart deliberately stood in the back and talked to the cook and then proceeded to answer the phone and take an order.
I kept waiting, as the minutes tick by affecting my numbers as a shopper. I was able to make eye contact again and asked if I could verify and scan her ID.
She reluctantly removed it from her wallet and insisted she already knew the policy and that I should've listened to her.
I let her know I was a very new shopper and had no idea of the Instacart policy and apologized for the inconvenience.
As I was leaving, I let her know that many of my family members are regular diners at the establishment and I told her I would let them know and also the owners.
Hopefully the owners will read this and become aware of how mean and unprofessional Erica with the glitter eyeshadow was to me.
I hope karma gets her, it boggles my mind that each of us are in the service business.
I will NEVER return to this establishment as a customer nor as an Instacart shopper.

To start off the man was rude on the phone and I seemed to be a bother to him for calling. I would hope they want Business .My husband got home and his chicken Marsala was cold and dry. The food was not ready when he got there so it should not of been cold. I ordered the filet on their special menu and asked for the steak to be cooked medium-rare. It was well done . No color or flavor at all. I did not see the Gorgonzola on the steak and the white wine cream sauce looked as if they just poured cream on the steak . Not cooking the sauce down or thickening it a little bit. I called to make them aware and the manager apologized and offered to make a new steak . So my husband drove back and when he got home the second filet was well done . Not only that both times the cream sauce spilled out in the bag which got everywhere. My husband said when he showed up he was standing right in front of the lady and she did not acknowledge him for awhile . He said there was no one in the restaurant. I called back to let the manager know about the second steak and she apologized. I told her I did not want anything but they should know when other people order it they may get complaints . You do not have two steaks on your menu if the chef does not know how to cook it. This whole situation ruined our dinner at home together since my husband had to leave again and we did not enjoy our dinner nor did we get to our wine . Read moreLiterally the worst service I've experienced. I went once and the service was terrible in the restaurant. The server was rude, never refilled drinks and was late bring food and the check. Once the food came it was good, so we decided to try again via take out to avoid the service. I was on the phone for 11 minutes trying to place an order. During this 11 minutes I was put in hold 4 times to answer other calls in the middle of placing my order. On the 4th hold, they put the phone down and then hung up on me. I called back to finish placing the order. I explained I was hung up by accident and proceeded with the order. The man on the line, acted as if it were my fault! So I ask why It was necessary to put me on hold every time I attempted to order a dish. They responded. "just something I have to deal with when other calls are coming in, just go ahead and finish your order..." really? Moving on, We asked for a simple noodle substitution (that was done during our first visit) but all the sudden they don't do that. The man on the line, continued to be rude. As you can see we were very patient initially because we know things happen. But the rude service on top of it was our breaking point.
