So I order a dishwasher and was told it would be delivered on 11/9 and that I would receive a call the day before to get my window for delivery. So I waited the evening before for my time window. Never received a call. So I took the whole day off work excepting to get a call in the morning for my delivery time. Still nothing so around 3pm I called the delivery number which is automated and doesn't let you speak to anyone to be informed that I had a scheduled delivery for the day but with still no time frame. So I contacted the store which the young man in appliances was no help. Didn't even listen to what I was telling him and had no clue on how to help me. I finally got a hold of the store manager that only could tell me they where running behind and it should be delivered between 3pm and 7pm . Still no call from the delivery company to inform me that they are running behind and what time I could possibly expect them to show up. 7pm comes still nothing and no phone call. So I call back down to the store to speak with the manager which still all she could say is they are coming. No help at all . Finally 9:15pm still no Dishwasher no call and store is now closed. Still the store manager had nothing, told me there was nothing they could do for me. So first thing in the morning I call back to cancel my order and the only thing they offered was to discount my dishwasher and to wait another week to have it delivered. I'm very frustrated with the customer service. You figure first priority would be to get the product out first thing in the morning not wait another 5 days to deliver it. I would not recommend buying anything from them they don't have sitting on the floor. I lost a whole day of pay and time sitting around waiting for something to never show...
Read moreToday is October 1st at around 8:52pm I finished shopping, I shop at Home Depot almost three times a week spending anywhere between 200 up to 1500 per trip. I’ve done this for the majority of the year, as I am doing many constructions at the moment. Unfortunately today I had a really close to terrible experience. I usually take My time shopping to not have to come back for the day, and I was with my group of 7 guys shopping. We had a constant flurry of workers asking us if we needed help, until the point where it was harassment. At one point nick, whilst I was in the cleaning aisle looking for degreaser comes up to me and asks me what am I looking for or what am I stealing. Unfortunately this as someone that has no necessity to steal nor take from others finds this not only offensive but demeaning. We spent a total of around 600 today, but if I can get reached out I can prove the amount I have spent at Home Depot this whole year. I have been loyal to Home Depot since I started construction for over a decade and I’ve never been so discriminated against in my life, I didn’t find it necessary for three police vehicles to show up for a couple guys that are just shopping and paying for their items, as well as having a total of 7 Home Depot workers waiting at the door. Too whomever this corresponds to I hope there is some reaching out. Thank you to officer Oviatt of the Martinez PD for not even hesitating on saying we did...
Read moreToday, I visited Home Depot in Martinez, CA to purchase some ridge caps for a shed that I had shingled over the weekend. I asked a young salesperson for help regarding a product I was thinking of purchasing. He didn't have an answer, but said he would send another salesperson over to help me. After 15 minutes of waiting, I asked a second salesperson for assistance, and she, too, said that she would send someone to help me in Roofing. After 15 minutes, I approached a 3rd salesperson who--like the others--said he would get someone to help me. After 45 minutes of waiting for Home Depot staff to help me, would you guess who actually gave me assistance? Another customer at the store who knew what he was talking about!
In the weeks following Christmas, I've spent over $1,000 (at least 20 different trips) at Home Depot to build a shed. So this is how Home Depot treats loyal customers, eh?
Hear this, Home Depot guys: with service provision of the quality I experienced today, it's NO WONDER why Lowes is eating your lunch! Even though Lowes means another 5 minutes of driving for me, I'm headed there from...
