Metro by T-Mobile — Local services in Martinez

Very rude staff. Every time I've come here they've never been helpful and they always act like you're wasting their time and irritating them.

Today was really bad. I came in with my friend to ask about their tempered glass screen protectors because she and I have the same phones, bought at different times, but were given different screen protectors upon purchase. I got the tempered glass and my friend got the generic cheap screen protector, so we wanted to get her the tempered glass.

First off, we walk into the store, no greeting, not busy, they (three employees) just stare at us. Other than the staff, me, and my friend, there's one family in there, off to the side not being helped, and THEY had to be the ones to tell us "Oh you can go ahead." So we ask the girl in front "You're available to help us?" and she's unresponsive, so we approach her and explain our situation. Her story changes more than once. First, she tells us that she doesnt know if they have them. Then she goes to look and tells us they're out of stock. So we ask "Do you know when they'll be back in stock?" and she turns to look at her coworkers who just stare at us with annoyed expressions and turns to tell us now that they "don't sell them anymore." That's it. End of story. No asking if we need anything else, no apology for the inconvenience, just more staring. So we tell them "thank you and have a nice day" on our way out and they just stare more.

The best part? We checked the metro site to make sure; they DO sell that screen protector still.

Uncaring, lying, rude employees. If you can go to a different store, you should.

UPDATE: Went to the T-Mobile on Contra Costa Blvd and they kindly explained that the screen protector actually Isn't sold anymore because the phone I have isn't sold anymore. For some reason it still appears to be available on the Metro website which is....pretty broken, but I see now that I was incorrectly accusing the workers at Metro of lying.

If you live closer to the Metro store in Martinez it's still worth going to the T Mobile on Contra Costa Blvd, much nicer staff,...

The service at the store was wonderful! Abdul, the gentleman whom helped me was wonderful. It was the company itself and the way they handle customer accounts now. It used to be if you were unable to pay your bill rt away, you could still have your phone number for up to 3 months. Now if it's even been "1" day over a month, to keep the number you've had for however long, they want you to pay that previous month that you had no service as well as the current month. So basically I would have had to pay approximately $115 dollars for service that I didn't even get, just to keep my number! Companies have become so greedy, trying to get more money out of people every chance they get, and leaving is with minimal options! For reasons out of my control, I was unable to pay my bill until it had been almost a month and a half. If I chose to keep the same number I had, which btw I really did want to prior to visiting the store, I would have had to pay for 2 months but only had service for the last 2 wks of that 2 months! That is completely absurd! As if things aren't expensive enough in California, companies like this are finding every loophole possible to get as much from good hard working customers they can. Then to to it all off, the link that I was sent requesting my opinion on services provided, I never even clicked on the link to answer the questions, yet SOMEHOW the questions for the review were answered with highest of marks of course, without me ever partaking in it myself! How is that even possible? I'm even more disappointed in the company now than I was while...

I would just like to give big big props to your employee at the store on Arnold Dr in Martinez. I have been to three other of your locations in the last 3 days and been on the phone since Friday with your 611 service and no one could help me and I walked in and he did one thing and it fixed my phone he is an amazing employee and I've always had absolutely wonderful results from this store!!!! I want everyone to know if you have a problem with your phone go to the Arnold drive Martinez T-Mobile and they are going to fix it and help you!!!
