This is where the dog park is in town but also a small park for kids with a picnic area with a roof over it. It really is a nice smaller park. As normal this time of year on Saturdays I was tooling my better half around to yardsales. We passed this park and they had a community event going on there. A sign out front said EVERYTHING was free and that got my better halfs attention so we stopped in. There was quite a few stands set up from various places and alot of free clothes to give away. She went looking just about the time somthing hit my nose and of course I followed my nose, right to the grill that was cooking free burgers and hotdogs. No better food then a dog fresh off the grill so I pertook in some good food. I looked for a donation box when I didn't see one and ask if they took donations and of course I donated. It was nice for all these people to come together during times that are hard on others to try and help out. Its nice to see that there are still caring people out there and I want to thank all those that put out this effort. P.S. my belly...

There were multiple grown men without kids, sitting at the picnic separately ( by the small playground) , so I'm glad there was a bigger one around the corner.
If I was a single mom I wouldn't take my child to this small park.
The restrooms were nice but NASTY there was pee in multiple spots on the floor and it looked like it had been there for days because it was drying up. It's really unfortunate that some people abuse the nice things.
The dog areas were very nice looking with a separate area for big and small dogs, but nobody was there on a Saturday.
Also, the Children Explore area was closed and locked, I'm not sure why or if it will reopen.

Very disappointed to see this is actually a paid park that requires an annual pass and the website and other information I read said nothing about a fee. I kinda understand because of the location for the need of this (if it's because of what I think it is) but you also forgot about those single traveler's looking for a safe place to take our other family members when we travel too. Family in Winchester, came here just to go to the park. Because my travels aren't just for me... hope you can change this if it's city owned as...
