Cafe Del Sol — Restaurant in Martinsburg

The food at Cafe Del Sol was refreshing, tasty, and all the flavors I didn't know I wanted. Overall, for the area it was a bit pricey, but I enjoyed what we got.

We started off with the red sangria. The taste wasn't too sweet, and instead gave off a lovely hint of spices that I loved.

As an appetizer, we got the crab nachos. They were delicious, with crunchy (what I think are ) homemade chips and actual crab cakes as toppings. The dressing on top was also delicious. Would recommend!

I got the ahi tuna salad, and my husband got the Cuban panini with truffle sea salt fries. Both dishes were very tasty, and a good sized portion. I really enjoyed the seared ahi tuna, and the dressing on the salad wasn't terribly heavy, sweet, or rich (though I only used half of it). I do wish there were more five spiced almonds though. The panini had a good amount of meat, and I loved the truffle hint on the fries.

I'd definitely come back and try more...

Over priced and disorganized My husband and I went here Friday night and there were maybe 16 people total. My husband was doubtful that it would be good on a Friday night with only a handful of people. We ordered fries for the appetizer at $6.50 plus .50 cents more for ranch. We got maybe 20 fries with salt nothing special I ordered tacos my husband ordered pizza nothing too complicated. My tacos and rice were brought out my husband was told his pizza would be out in a minute. My fish tacos were cold and the rice was so dry. 20 minutes lates I was trying to eat slowly so I could eat with my husband he didn’t have any food yet. He called the server over and said just cancel my order. She tried to say it was coming out now. He refused she returns with the check no discount and blames the ovens for not getting hot enough. I noticed so many pizzas going out with door dash First time and last $30 for 3 small tacos handful of fries...

The food is amazing! However we have been there 3 times with the same server Alisha. She is absolutely horrible and clueless. The first time she messed up our dish noticed it was messed up and blamed it on the chef. Our drinks stay empty every single time to the point we walked up to soda machine and refilled them ourselves. Today we had kids at our table she mentioned nothing about kids menus. When we asked if she had kids menu she said the best she could do was a Togo menu. Then a table of kids sat down next to us and their server gave them a coloring menu…… I could go on and on about the terrible service with this server.
