Wonderful dining experience! 790 Foxcroft Ave., Martinsburg, WV I had some out of town business to attend to in Martinsburg on Dec.28. Because I have Celiac, I need a reliable restaurant to order gluten-free entrees. Outback is my go to chain restaurant because all the staff is fully trained to accommodate gluten-free diets. Especially this location provided me with the best dining experience! Upon entering, the cordial hostess presented me with their gluten-free menu. I requested to sit at the bar since there were families waiting to be seated and I was eating alone. Plus, I am a sports nut and Outback has numerous flat screens to view a variety of sports venues. Immediately, bright and friendly Bree S., the bartender and my server, filled my drink order exactly as I requested and allowed me to relax and peruse the gf menu. Upon ordering, I inquired about the cleaning of the grill which is a specific request for the gf salmon I wished to order. Bree S., without hesitation, reassured me that the grill would be prepped accordingly and not to worry about cross- contamination. Bree S. placed my order specifically as I requested and attentively re-filled my drink. Even though the restaurant was very busy, my dinner order was prepared quickly and delivered to me by the friendly, Bree S. The pace of my service was right on point, with Bree S. checking and filling my requests. With the management being hands-on, I observed a very clean and well-run establishment where the co-workers function as a team whose members enjoy working together and helping each other. This atmosphere elevates this Outback location above and beyond the service of any other location that I have visited in various locations throughout WV and PA. Whenever I am in the area, I will most...
Read moreWe went to Outback for an early dinner recently and it started out good with a waitress at our table very quickly and she took our order and brought us some bread and the water we requested.
We had ordered blooming onion petals for an appetizer since we had tried a whole Bloomin Onion last time we were there and it was just a little bit too much. The pedals turned out to be better and we're actually cooked more thoroughly than the Bloomin Onion had been.
It seemed to be taking quite a while to get the steakhouse salads we had ordered we probably been sitting about 30 minutes before they showed up and we had ordered quickly. When the salads arrived the steak which we had ordered medium was cooked medium-well and on the cold side so we brought that to the attention of the waitress and she immediately offered to get it recooked. We asked if it would take long and she assured us it would be quick.
Within a short time the manager Tom brought us two new salads out of the kitchen, the steak in them looked delicious and turned out to be so.
Tom had made sure that these two Steakhouse salads were done correctly and he also arranged for us to have a Chocolate Thunder from Down Under for dessert on the house.
Overall we had a pretty good time and if things have been right the first time they would have got a 5-star rating, I did give them a 4 star rating, and I'm sure we'll give them another chance because we really liked the salads.

Read moreIt was great as usual this is my 3rd time I've the food from this Outback in the past 10 days. Ordered carry out and it was not as good as you would expect. First the blooming onion was one step from being burnt and the oil was all over the outside container which absorbed through bag and was just one big mess when I got home. The shrooms were also cooked to long and they too was just one step away from being burnt. The Queensland pasta with chicken and shrimp was dry imo. The noodles had barely any sauce to moisten noodles let alone have any flavor. The dish was very bland dry and the shrimp was very small and dried up from overcooking. My husband's ribeye and steamed veggies were splendid and the salads were superb as always including the homemade ranch which we ordered extra and they did put plenty in the bag. Me next experience was dining inside and I got a blooming onion and the steak dip with tortillas. I wasn't a fan of the dip but my daughter loved it. I got the BBQ chicken breast and it was cooked perfect. I orderd the grilled asparagus and they were terrible. Finally the 3rd time was also a dine in experience and the best out of the 3 times ordering at this outback I ordered the ribs and chicken platter. It was good no complaints on the shrooms the onion was finally right and my entree was wonderful....salads were right on and our waiter was one of the best waiters I've ever had. So all in all I would recommend trying...
