I love target, Iād rather give birth 3 times in a row without any pain meds, jump off a 40 foot cliff to my death, and wreck a brand new Porsche that I was finally able to buy after years of credit debt than go to Walmart, okay. The selection is great. Very clean store, I always grocery shop here and avoid Walmart/winndixie/etc at all costs. However, literally every time I happen to stop in for whatever reason... there is an associate that is a complete A word. I used to work for target, I know the standards target employees are supposed to work by. This dude is literally the most dramatic sack of whompus Iāve ever seen. Guest walking past you saying she canāt find something and you canāt even stop to ask if they need help? Huff and puff when my cart is in your way and almost clip it while my child is in it? Huff and puff when I chose your line at checkout instead of standing in an outrageously long self check out line? Youāre not an ICU nurse, get over yourself. Your jobs not hard. You work for a great company, so stop acting to pitiful and quit if youāre that upset about working here. For the record, I donāt know his name. But Iāll update this with it when I return and see him. Hope his overall attitude makes some improvements in the meantime. One bad apple doesnāt ruin the tree, but dear lord. Take a stroll on the beach or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to be a very avid customer and enjoyed coming into the store to do my shopping. However today, I feel that was not the case. When I go to stores like Target, I am 99% going to buy something as I am there specifically for that. Today, I went in to purchase a pair of wireless earbuds and a new game for my gaming console (Nintendo Switch). While in the store, there were numerous associates around stocking (normal for a Tuesday). When I went to the electronics section, there was not a soul around. And when there was one, they simply passed by me without acknowledgement to see if I needed assistance (as I was standing, hard staring at the wireless earbuds at the time). It went so far as to me being in the game isle and the associate there was busy socializing with another associate across the isle in the toy department. I was not asked if I needed anything, simply ignored as they carried on their conversation. So, in summary, I am disappointed in my in-store shopping experience today. I did get the items I needed, but in keeping with the age, I purchased them online for in-store pickup so as not to distract any associate from their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was in the Target store in Mary Esther 9/8 and was interested in computer accessories. I walked in the front door and was immediately impressed by the appearance of the store. Most times one walks into a large retail operation and it is just another store you go in, get what you need and leave. The Target in Mary Esther, Florida is the exception. It is brightly lit, the front was open and inviting, the floors were spotless and products were neatly displayed. The overall condition made me want to stay and look around which I did after I shopped the computer accessories I went there for to begin with. As i wandered, quite literally, through the entire location, it was spotless. If all this wasn't enough every associate I met smiled and greeted me. Very rare in retail today. I recently retired after 44 years in mostly retail sales and retail management and I will tell you I'm not the guy who posts reviews but this Target location was that exceptional. I wanted the location manager and all the associates to know someone really appreciated...
