Dino’s Deli at Riverport — Restaurant in Maryland Heights

One taste of this food is like heaven. A group of us that work together, has ordered from this place for the last 4weeks. The first 3 times we had to go and pick the orders up, due to no delivery driver, which was ok. We made an order today which had to Gyro salads and 2 Gyro rice bowls with extra pita bread. The driver for got the bread and no feta cheese in the Gyro salad. made a courtesy call about the bread, then notice feta not in salad. The manager Debbie was so rude to me because I called nicely to inform her, she yelled and screaming , saying she will never deliver to us again, and she will tell the owner Dino that she won't deliver to us again, very rudely, after she told me that they had a new person that fixed the salads and left everything. This is someone that I would not have representing my business that has the most excellent food in Riverport. She even said we didn't tip her, and we tried to give her a tip and she said she didn't have change and don't carry change, and said we can double next time. I guess she wanted the whole $20. I have reported her to the Westport store , waiting on owner to return call. will update you. Ps: she just came back up her with a refund of $4, how professional...

This place has great food but it feels very disorganized and cramped. When the weather is nice the outdoor seating is wonderful, especially around back by the pond. But if the weather is not nice, the little tables inside are too small and close together to enjoy the experience.

Also, the soda fountain is inconveniently located right in the middle of the line.

These are the things that would make this place better imo:

Shift the whole food prep area over closer to the door and move the soda fountain to where the register currently is or onto the side wall.

Add a 2nd door to get out of the restaurant on the side wall or front wall as well.

Set up the immediate outside so it can be insulated during bad weather with some heavy duty plastic curtains or something that can keep in the heat, and some heating and air conditioning for the rainy...

Had a couple of takeaway "Gyros" from here on our holiday to St Louis and they were out of this world. Very very tasty, just the right amount of sauces, and the pitta bread was perfect. We went early on in the day so they weren't too busy, but I can imagine it gets really busy as the lunchtime crowd goes in. Also, if you want to eat in there is a lovely area at the back ..... and even better, just outside the rear door there is a seating area around a very pretty pond/small lake with it's own fountain.

Definitely recommend Dino's...
