Always fun to try local ice cream places so stopped by while in the area. First, they are in an upscale strip mall with views of the parking lot, but their store is nice and clean and they have a number of nice outdoor tables with umbrellas. Secondly, they are affiliated with Annapolis Ice Cream, which is one of my favorite shops near home (and they have a number of the same flavors that I recognized) because they all make their own ice cream (not a reseller of Hersheys or Ben Jerry etc). So a little above average prices ($5-$7) for cups of 1-3 scoops...BUT they are dang good generous scoopers, I felt like my 3 scoops couldn't possibly hold any more ice cream and was probably a 1/2 gallon of ice cream. Sticker shock at first but with scoops that size, no complaints at all. Lots of selection of fun unique flavors. We tried Coffee (mild flavor with very slight coffee notes), Utz Old Bay Potato Chip (awesome, so unique with lots of potato chip chunks and a slight but pleasant old bay burn at the end), and salted caramel (caramel flavoring but disappointing as literally no actual caramel layers/ swirls/pieces in it nor noticeable saltiness). Their ice cream base is delicious - solid and creamy. I suppose my only issue (and maybe just my preference and not yours) is the lack of included "stuff" in many of their flavors, which is something I really appreciate at a place like Brusters where every bite has a thick caramel swirl or graham cracker crust swirl or raspberry layer or chocolate chunk. Overall still probably one of the better places around and one of the great attractions is that you never know what they might be making...

We got chocolate brownie batter, chocolate and peanut butter oreo... none of them disappointed us.
Plenty of topping to choose from. You could even be a "true" Marylander by adding old bay to it ha. That's how variety of topping you could choose.
The kids got gummi bears and sprinkles. I was just happy with my peanut butter oreo.
Oh- even single scoop on sugar cone comes with two scoops. Imagine how full we were
Ps- it's a family owned establishment. Give this place a tryyyy! If you love ice cream, you won't be...
Read moreBest ice cream ever, no doubt about that, I get everyone hooked. But, I want to mention how wonderful the staff is (as a twice weekly customer). This is also the cleanest facility ever. As someone who works in refrigeration, I can tell you…. I would almost never eat ice cream from a machine but I have watched the employees every time, clean their soft serve and milk shake machines after EVERY use and wipe down counters and tables any chance they get, and are constantly changing gloves. As a consumer and someone who works in this environment, I am IMPRESSED! Well...
