The drive-through lady needs to pay attention to the order. I received an American roast beef instead of a classic. When I took the sandwich back in to correct the person waiting on me, she was fine but then they started speaking in Spanish and I know they were talking about me because it was the person apparently who took my order and they kept turning around and looking at me. I said I don't understand Spanish and I know you're talking about me, so then the person that was waiting on me inside said she said that you asked for an American roast beef. I said I know what I ordered I ask if the classic Roast Beef was on the 2 for $7 menu she said no it's the American I said well then never mind I will take two of the Classic Roast Beef. But she gave me the American roast beef with the lettuce and tomato or whatever else comes along with it when I opened it I saw it and knew that the classic never comes with that so I just thought that they had given me the wrong sandwiches. However, it appears that she only heard the American roast beef instead of listening when I said no, I want the Classic Roast Beef. Then the person that took my order through the drive-thru or maybe a manager whoever she was said you have to charge her more I said that's fine I'll pay the difference because I did not want the American roast beef because I don't like anything on my sandwich I wanted the Classic Roast Beef sandwich. The difference between the price should have been 19 each for total of .38 cent plus tax. Instead, I was charged 1.38. When I asked the cost of the classic roast beef, I was told $3.69, and if you take $3.69 minus $3.50, it is .38. We stop at this location all the time and this is the 1st time we have had a problem. Also, everyone had to wait a bit for each order given through the drive-through. Maybe all new people, but it seems to have been a problem that day at...
Read moreI hate leaving bad reviews but I'm in hopes that reviews are read and taken into consideration by owners and maybe I'll patronize this location again in the future. I can't speak for other locations but the pasadena location has progressively gotten more expensive and quality & quantity has fallen far below standards. Once again, another establishment that has raised prices, decreased the quality and amount of food you receive. I can understand the price increase considering inflation across the board. But to not provide the same quality & amount of food is unacceptable. It's a "lose lose" for the customer. In my particular situation, I simply used to love the roast beef sliders. For me, I have a small appetite so one slider, small fries and a cheddar cup was my go to. They used to have a happy hour between 2pm-5pm everyday and all sliders & small fries were a $1. They completely done away with that, more than doubled the cost of everything and you get less food. The slider was so sad. They changed the bun to some ordinary dinky bun, and literally put 2 "arby slices" of roast beef and maybe a 1/4 slice of cheese, and They wrap it in a thin little piece of wax paper when it used to come packaged in a little carton. That part is minor, but still shows that they cut costs and you still receive poor quality and smaller portions and poor presentation as well.. I want to mention that the bun they used to make the sliders on was so soft & delicious, it made it in my opinion. Anyhow, needless to say my most recent visit yesterday was a complete disappointment. Slider was sad, fries were fine, but I realized when I got home that they charged me for the cheddar cup I order but I did not receive it. Do better please. This is...
Read moreI have always loved Arby's sandwiches. Sadly, the nearest one is several miles away so I haven't been by in a while. I was intrigued by their new Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwich which prompted me to visit.
I purchased two of the pecan chicken salad sandwiches. The bread was particularly good. Fresh, large, even the crust was good. Reminds me of the old Pepperidge Farms "Poulsbo" bread from way back.
The chicken salad was great. Large chunks of white meat chicken, celery, diced apples, sliced grapes, mayo, & seasoning. A delicious sweet taste similar to Subway's Orchard Chicken Salad.
All served with a generous portion of fresh romaine lettuce. My only complaint is, unlike the promo photo which is loaded edge-to-edge with chicken salad an inch thick, both of my sandwiches had a skimpy scoop of chicken salad barely covering the center of the bread. The edges were bare all the way around. (Now you know why I said the crust was good).
I'd still get it again, but Arby's either needs to increase the amount of chicken salad to match the size of the bread, or bake smaller loaves. (I vote for option #1)
$5.99 for the sandwich. It would be a straight 5 out of 5, save for the skimpy amount of chicken salad which...
