So I went to this Baskin-Robbins on Woodfield Road for a DoorDash pickup, and right off the bat—it was a mess. I stood there waiting a couple minutes before the guy working even bothered to acknowledge me. When I finally spoke up and told him I was there for a pickup, he basically said, “Yeah, yeah, we can’t do that,” and just stood there looking at me like I was the problem. No effort, no communication. I even asked what other flavors they had because the customer wanted to know—and he just threw his hand up, didn’t say a word. Like, really?
Now look, I get it. We all got problems. Lord knows I’m juggling a few health issues myself, and my family’s been dealing with some financial stress. But no matter what’s going on in my personal life, when it’s time to work, I don’t let that latch on to how I treat people—especially not customers. That’s just basic respect.
It’s very clear this employee doesn’t like what he’s doing. And to that, I say: change your scenery. Strive for better. I’m not just throwing that out there either—I live by that. I recently earned my associate’s degree from community college and I’m transferring to a four-year university this fall to get my bachelor’s. So believe me when I say, your situation can change—but how you treat people? That says a lot about you.
This kind of behavior reflects badly on the whole store. Management really needs to step up, because this isn’t just a one-off. I’ve been here before and had similar experiences. And based on what other customers told me outside the shop? I’m not the only one noticing.
Hope this review makes it to the right eyes—cause something...
Read morePlease don’t take this lightly when I say DO NOT ORDER HERE.
We ordered a cake for my nephews birthday party, it’s a party for 2-10 year olds. We found plastic inside the cake, not a little piece, an entire layer of plastic embedded in between the two layers of cake. We brought the cake back to the store the next day after calling the store, and they let us know they can refund the order.
This is a serious safety hazard and we thought since it was a big franchise, they would understand, but that’s not what happened. The store manager nicknamed “Honey” was nothing but rude and incompetent. She asked to speak to me on the phone after her fellow employees already told her what the problem was and sent proof. She has the nerve to ask me what kind of plastic and that there is suppose to be plastic on the cake. Interesting.
After going back and forth with the manager, the nice employee then gave me cash which was not my original payment method and to make matters worse, gave me the wrong amount.
“Honey”, or the store manager of Baskin Robbins, located at Woodfield, Gaithersburg, if you’re reading this, either quit, or get your stuff together before you seriously...
Read moreI never go to any baskin robbins but from my experience here I thought to myself, is this how they train the employees at every location? I was trying to purchase an ice cream cake for my family members and asked if they can write happy birthday on it. The lady on the register straight up told me that she had too much customers and said she had no time in a very rude way. I was flabbergasted and was silent for a second and asked if they do write in the spot anytime and she said yeah but Im too busy dealing with the customers and told me to look at the amount of customers she had. That’s not how customer service works and didn’t even say thank you after I purchased the cake. Total disappointment and would never step my foot in that...
