Update, the owner called me personally and immediately made the dairy free Grahm Cemtral Station. Back to five stars. Hands down Best ice cream ever made. I honestly love this Bruster's as a person who was a General Manager of the Annapolis Brustets, (before the owners were cancelled for racist comments on the company Facebook page) for over a year and made these delicious ice creams daily, I can honestly day this location does make its recipes to spec. Unlike, another location I will not name specifically who cuts ingredients by half for addins to save money, which is absolutely against franchise rules. Tonight I leave this Aquahart location super dissapointed and the experience is going to leave my son even more disappointed. My son did not eat dairy any longer and when i worked at Bruster's he did and so he fell in love with some of these delicious flavors Grahm Central Station being #1. I get in line and see They have an Almond Milk based Grahm Central Station, I immediately call my son who is in Alabama and flying home tomorrow to tell him that i will have a pint waiting for him. The young lady at the window takes my order and instead of immediately going to fill the pint waits for me to pay asking my phone number and then starts getting the containers and lids writing the flavors on BY THE TIME SHE WENT TO SCOOP MY SONS ICE CREAM IT WAS ALL GONE!!! I have never been so angry I had to ask God to give me strength and as I explain I had already promised my son. Which when i was a manager I would have said "Its okay You said your son arrives late tomorrow night, I will make another batcg in the morning and have a pint set side for you to come pick up." Was there any kind of empathy Absolutely not the oldest lady made a snide Sorry and shrugged her...

Places like this really annoy me. They have "real ice cream" in their name, they charge high prices leading people to think they use the best natural ingredients and they claim to make the ice cream from scratch every day. They might make it everyday, in a lab somewhere.

This is the ingredients for Brusters vanilla icecream. Ingredients: MILK, CREAM, SUGAR, CORN SYRUP, NONFAT MILK SOLIDS, SWEET WHEY, MONO & DIGLYCERIDES, GUAR GUM, LOCUST BEAN GUM, POLYSORBATE 80, CARRAGEENAN, VANILLA, VANILLIN, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, CARAMEL COLOR.

For comparison:

This is the ingredients for Breyers vanilla ice cream. INGREDIENTS: MILK, CREAM, SUGAR, VEGETABLE GUM (TARA), NATURAL FLAVOR.

Now you tell me which one is "real ice cream".

If you still decide to go there have fun overpaying for chemical filled ice cream. The ingredients in their ice cream are worse than McDonald's, don't believe me than go check yourself.

"Fresh made every day" what a joke, do they have the chemist come in to mix the MONO & DIGLYCERIDES with the POLYSORBATE 80, I would hate for one of the icecream servers mix the wrong ammount and cause a...

Update 07/08/2025 Owner reached out to see exactly what had occurred. He was very kind, courteous, informative, and went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Very pleased. I have been a patron here since 2016 and will continue to do so as long I live here.

Update 07/05/2025 I ordered two scoops of ice cream. It came in a very small cup. I asked if it was, in fact, two scoops and I was assured it was. I brought it home and compared it to the website and it is definitely not 2 scoops. The girl working there didn't ask for my rewards number or give me my receipt. It was busy, I'll give them that, but even so I should still should have gotten what I paid for. Not really happy.

2023 - We love coming here. The ice cream is always delicious! Best ice cream...

I use to love the ice cream and service here. Since the new owners took over it's absolutely horrible. Turtle sundays use to be the best, now they say the owner says that hot fudge doesn't come on turtle Sundays, only carmel does. However, a turtle candy is chocolate on the outside, with carmel and pecans on the inside. The carmel that is served now is 10 times sweeter than before and they put so much that the ice cream becomes a bowl of soup. I paid for hot fudge and it was barely any on my sunday. This is the 3rd time I've had the turtle sunday and now I know it wasn't a mistake the new owners are making horrible changes and cutting back to save themselves a $1. I have patronized this establishment for the past 12 years and unfortunately I will not be back!!!

Great ice cream and lots of interesting flavors. The prices were close to reasonable - just a bit high (or the scoop sizes were a bit small). Fast - if a bit unenthusiastic - service. Was a little underwhelmed by the choices for how to receive all those flavors. Specifically, they only seemed to offer one fairly small sunday size. And the prob sizes don't scale correctly at all. The person I was with got a single scoop, and it was about half the size of my quad scoop. The seating area left something to be desired. But at the end of the day, the ice cream is good enough to cover all the other flaws.

Unfortunately I can't say I'll patronize this location again... Two 2 scoops in a cup and a single scoop in a cup is $15.89? The single scoop was at best a teaspoon scoop... When I asked about the portion sizes being so small in comparison to the Severna Park location I was dismissed and told "That's just the standard." I'll stick with the Odenton or Severna Park locations where they use an actual ice cream scoop and not a teaspoon to portion their ice cream... 2 stars just because the Mango ice cream was great.
